Acostat chiar în inima Manhattan-ului, la emblematicul Chelsea Piers Marina, am ajuns să experimentez New York-ul ca niciodată înainte – de pe puntea bărcii mele cu pânze! Single-handing really is the true test of a sailor. If someone can do it on a 30ft all their skills are solid. It's the variables of weather that can take it from manageable to out-of-control.

Surprised you didn't swing by the Intrepid Air Museum, you were only a 1/ 4 mile down river from it.
I was stationed at Fort Hamilton in Brooklyn from 88-90. Amazing place, and you passed right by – as it's located pretty much under the bridge. I wish I had a boat – even a trailer sailor – back then, as it would have been amazing adventures every week!
