Interesting you mention outboards. I just purchased a Vagabond 47 that came with a 1987 9’ Avon and a 2.5 propane outboard. I’m thinking it’s time for an upgrade.

As a Canadian who travels a lot, I can receive care when going back to Canada. We pay for it, but it's refunded when you fill out the proper document if you are gone for more than 6 months, and if you keep your official residence in Canada, it's also easier. Everybody should have insurance when they travel anyway

We seriously considered applying for your “4 Month Couple Cruise in Thailand” contest … but, once we thought through the logistics (if we were so lucky to be selected) … that it became hard to justify! We can easily slip away physically… but our at home monthly expenses would be at least $3k a month while away, to maintain, while away! X4? $12K ….
Not sure if your couple crew opening plan covers that.

I really think one of those questions in particular was simply trying to understand how you were at fault while your insurance had to cover the boat when you hadn’t taken delivery of the boat yet surely that’s a warranty/manufacturing insurance issue or a very least the shipping company.
Safety is always a thing that gets my gander up on this channel. If only 1 person knows what’s going on if you lose that person it’s a disaster.

Chloe is great, I was not sold at first but to be fair she was kind of tossed into a tough situation (from a content perspective).
