INTERESAT? INTERESTED? You can charter Marala with Ocean Independence: https://www.oceanindependence.com/yacht-charter/yacht/marala/
Thank you for the tour and the history lesson of this very interesting yacht. If I had a choice between taking a vacation on this yard boring new super yacht I would take this because it is such a beautiful experience to be aboard A unique vessel And being very comfortable while you're being transported across the ocean
I suppose most of the people who buy the usual, vulgar looking overgrown speedboats, cannot afford to own and run such beautiful vessels as Marala. Otherwise, I think we would see more of such craft.
Absolutely amazing. I am happier knowing such a beautiful yacht such as Marala exists in this world.
Marala has such class and style! I bet he never trades this for another boat in a couple years.
A beautiful yacht. It has style and elegance in abundance, that in my opinion is sadly missing in modern yachts. I believe I have seen her moored in Birgu Malta.
EASILY one of the greatest ships you've featured on this channel – what a gorgeous thing
Thanks Jack, gorgeous vessel, excellent tour.😊
Too many screens and things restricting the visibility in the wheel house.
Shes still such a beauty.
ribEYE?
Just gorgeous! Thanks.
She is absolutely gorgeous
That one would simply be an honor to own.
I'm sorry, but my current financial situation precludes me from an immediate purchase. However, if in the new year, I win the lottery or open a chain of daycare centers in Minnesota, I'll buy it.
She has the look of a RN warship especially the bow before her service in WW2. Somebody was looking ahead when designing her. Its well known many British merchant ships were designed with strengthened points for guns etc perhaps her designers foresaw her service . if so it obviously worked.
i seen this yacht on another channel – she has to be such a privilege to own, and so nice to have something of this age in great condition with very good pedigree too – her history speaks volumes of what a boat like this means to people – it be fantastic to learn of any crew or families of past crew members who might have some pictures of life on board, imagine the stories
i watch a couple who are restoring an old RAF rescue boat named Sarinda from WWII, she will not be restored to her original wartime state as later in life she was converted to be a family yacht and had major changes made, sadly she got left rotting, but Simon and wife Gemma are doing a Stirling job to bring her back to life, most of the structural stuff done, and all the internal furnishings to begin, some modernisation
i love these stories, old boat being resurrected keeping the history going – and so nice to have something survive the war years too
Most beautiful yatch , very Ralph Lauren style boat, i've seen……
It is a Fairey Swordfish, not a Fairy Swordfish, so the caption on the yacht's 'history wall' needs correcting. A beautiful yacht though. So much more attractive and classy to my mind than a new build billionaire's trinket.
Enjoyed everything but the photos turned into videos with AI
Wow you won't see another one anywhere.
My favorite video yet! What a beautiful craft.
Did anyone video the rebuild? I would love to see how it was accomplished.
I absolutely love this ship I would rather have this than anything new and character less
I think they flipped the floorboards 180° (not 90!) and refurbished them. Great yacht. The restorer owed heaps for keeping the paxt alive!
Can anyone please explain why the Cook Island Ensign is blue and not red?
I understood that blue is normally reserved for government vessels, white for military and red for private.
This should be everyone's Yacht of the Year for 2025. Absolutely magnificent.
What a beautiful yacht. Sure the modern stuff is cool and all but this is just timeless. When the new stuff gets scraped out, this will still be floating.
All I can say wow …such understated elegance and class with comfort home away from home
Very impressiv. I wonder who would pay for this Kind of Standard on a boot? Regards from Vienna
Outstanding video of an historic ship. Thank you.
I have photographs of Amelia Earhart with my father and his friends in Kansas City, Missouri. he would have married a friend of Amelia's but the girl died young.
I am very glad that somebody had the money to refit this beautiful yacht. It is truly a most desirable ship.
Like the presentations by Jack. Two thumbs up 👍😃👍
Awesome Yacht. I would take her over anything modern. Thanks for sharing.
This boat is so classy a glass of whisky and a cigar spontaneously manifested in my hands.
Very enjoyable video, thank you Jack. Stunning old yacht, amazing Marala has been kept in good shape by generous owners.
Pure, unadulterated Quality. an absolute Gem, from stem to stern. thank you.
59 Meters and only 12 guests? I get it you have to have more crew than you would with a modern yacht, but seems pretty light on the staterooms.
Still can't bet the Christina. Not least of all the Owners suite.
stunning yacht, timeless
what an absolutely stunning old girl. the refit crew did an incredible job. this is the epitome of a gentleman's yacht. let hope she live on for another 100 years. a true treasure. i can imagine cruising the med just like back in the heyday of yachting.
chefs kiss!!!! and great work by the onboard crew for keeping looking beautiful. wow.
Can you please mark any AI generated imagery? Best case would be to not use AI at all, of course, but if you must use it, please label it accordingly. Otherwise your trustworthiness completely goes out of the port hole.
