  11. I think you guys have accidentality discovered a revenue stream. These boat reviews are awesome, if you could scale the production up a bit. People love your insight on boats/yachts. With Sierra doing the interiors and comfort features and Billy doing the technical.

  12. Great video as I watching it I noticed the cricket 2 In the background. For anybody who doesn't know this was Frank Mundas boat , infamous shark fisherman from Montauk. Jaws was based on his Character and the orca was similar boat. I grew up around the block from him and his boat was docked at the marina where my dad's boat was. Very cool coincidence.

  15. I first lear ed if them from there sailing explorer yacht. Its amazing. Im glad you showed us another of there boats! The dashews!

  20. Legendary! Have followed and respected the designs and builds of Steve for over 20yrs.
    Have been working on a refit for 3yrs of an older Gulfstar 43’ trawler which coincidentally was built from the Gulfstar sailing hull, most all my design changes have been based on Steve and Nils Luccander design studies. The FPB design is still the most advanced concepts in the boating world.

  21. This dudes math doesn’t math.

    At 10 knots it burns 4.23 GPH. With a 2600 gallon tank that’s about 630 hours at 10 knots.

    Or 6,000 miles, not 10,000 miles.

    That’s quite a bit of difference.

  22. When Wind Horse was cruising the Bras D'or, I had the great privilege of being invited aboard her. (We did it rafted together and drifting 😉 Meeting Steve and Linda, and seeing Wind Horse up close and personal, even briefly, was a great experience and one that I will always remember. Such elegant and gracious people. Thank you so much.

  27. Wow, that didn’t work out very good with that who won the sound of Vietnamese sailboat? Well anyway, that didn’t work out very good. You didn’t hardly go anywhere on it. I guess you’re either out of money or you had too many problems with it or both just didn’t work out right. So you’re gonna carry on your channel selling boats? That’s what you should do gonna sell boats and maybe you know. We all know that boats are a big holes to fall in to me. They’re boring. You should get a Harley and go be a tourist before your old lady knocked up. Probably you’re not skilled in that. Lifeguard I guess.

  34. It is NOT a revolutionary design, it is a copy of a lot of Asian designed vessels, shallow draft and long waterline. The Fairmile cruisers did this (amoungst many others) for decades. Look up any long boat and the principle design is the same. I saw one YT channel that was saying how wonderful it was the the stern of the FBP would go fully underwater in a following sea!
