Awesome video dude! Is it me or are there a lot of fire fighters about but doesn't look like they're going to try and douse the flames any time soon.
The fire kinda look fake…
Insurance fraud?
How is it sooo smooth and stable?
What type of drone is this?
insurance papers got to close to martgage papers and caused a fire…
Het zal je maar overkomen heb je net een vakantie gepland en dan krijg je dit slechte nieuws te horen.
Definitely a insurance scam it was for sale for over a year! Boats don't just catch fire sitting dry dock with nothing running?? An you can see the fire started up top not down below.
Whats the quadcopter you used called?
100 feet + is a yacht. That was only 75 feet so it's not a yacht
Sad sight to see
Incredible video Kurt!
What drone n camera are you using? I've got a bit of money to blow, and a drone I feel could satisfy my needs >:D
haha! rofl rn! made my day to see such stupid people!
why dont we make fire Drones bigger drones that can lower a fire hose in the water and than pump the water up so you can (spray) water to it 🙂
Drones are much faster and efficient 🙂
Great video, would you mind telling me the make and model of your drone? I am thinking about purchasing one. Your's had a good flight distance and good stability. Get back to me! Thanks!
What kind of drone was it ???
Nice job!
Whats the name of the drone?
phantoms are stupid, but good job..
Nice even burn, looks deliberate to me. Like they pumped fuel through all the water lines and put accelerate everywhere. I guess they wanted the insurance check more than they wanted the yacht.
Location seems to be Marine Group Boat Works, 997 G Street – Chula Vista, CA 91910
32°37'51.24"N, 117° 6'24.09"W
I hope the newer multiple rotor copters are far less noisy. Would more blades per rotor and a slower rotor rpm reduce the sound level?
controlled burn, that was easy..
Check this one out AAStew Vlogs
Just has to get everything on film, dont bother to help
What drone did you use?
Guess they'll have to change the name from "Polar Bear" to "Black Bear" now
What drone are you using? What camera? Looks great
I'm saving up for a boat and this is one of my biggest fears once I'm away from the dock.
one minute silence
I hope you don't do this when there are bushfires on. Supposedly some quadcopter owners try to get footage of bushfires which actually hinders the fire authority's ability to put the fire out. Heard that on Tested. Cool video though.
Oh well. the person who's boat is burning can replace it easily enough. I laugh at his stupidity if he can't.
And this is why California is cracking down on drones so hard. Way to ruin it for everyone
Why were firemen just STANDING there watching it burn???
Great video, thumbs up. Cheers from Sint Maarten
Wow… That's close to where I live
Lazy firefighters don't even try to put out the fire. Lazy and overpaid!!!
24 million up in flames..
AWESOME THANKS FOR SHARING
i guess the played my mixtape
Who else came here from failarmy?
this is the reason why I like glas fibre more than carbon
sad
so sad sorry be safe
A vessel on land is very susceptible to weight differentiation. This yacht was balancing and supported by side-stays but it remained inherently unstable. 1 litre of water = 1 kilogram and those fire appliances are capable of pumping 4 000 to 5 000 litres a minute, each. That's 4 metric tons of water a minute! What would be the point of flooding the vessel only to cause it to become unstable and have it fall onto its side? Nope, in cases like this, it's far better to let it burn out. Its called "defensive" fire fighting and is often used when there are no immediate advantages to fighting a lost cause. Firemen are just as frustrated at having to do this but it is sometimes unavoidable.
I can feel the heat from the video
Yacht Polar bear by Citadel yachts 102 feet
Fire response in America is abysmally slow, all those fire trucks and not one once of water being put on that fire.
to short to be any good
