  1. Poor Penny – not a great day for sure 😢 glad you managed to keep yours and her spirits up – and I just love Mike and yours sense of humour and ability to laugh and smile in the face of adversity

  2. Wow!!! Multiple Challenges coming nearly simultaneously. Great job keeping Penny and Lucy healthy and happy. You’re using the same recipe that we use for our two doodles and they love it. Hope you’re weekend includes a smidgen of relaxation and sunset gazing. Cheers 👍🇺🇸🥂.

  3. There’s few things more difficult than watching your baby hurt and suffer through such a difficulty. Words are of little comfort to them or you. Only touch, time, and tenderness make any difference but as you say, those days take so much extra energy that your ‘normal’ routine overwhelms. And yet, you still reached out to your neighbor and changed their world, still found beauty in a sea turtle passing by, and captured such wonderful moments of joy as a family. Such love demonstrated with grace and charm really encourages me. What a wonderful treat these few moments each week have become.

  4. Im sorry you have had a tough time of it. But thank you for sharing that. Take heart that you still pulled through, created content, took care of yourselves and others. An example to all of us. Please keep it up. It's really good to see.

  5. Your real followers(subscribers) and patrons are NOT going to stop supporting you if you take a video break to handle life on board! Your peace and welfare should always be First ! Hugs, respect, and nothing but love to you all. 💗

  6. Taylor and Mike, so sorry you all had such a miserable time, but glad to see things are improving, especially for Penny. We really understand as we cruise with our two goldens, still back in the Salish Sea. Our furry crew members’ health is always a concern. We try to make a list of all the vet clinics where ever we go, thankfully you guys were able to find places to go down there. -Fraser and Jeff

  7. I don't know if you took your dogs to the groomers when you lived in Seattle, but my wife worked as a groomer for a number of years and it is common for groomers to express the dog's anal glands as part of the grooming process. If that is the case it may be this is something you need to do for your dogs, although a good diet will certainly not hurt.

  8. So sorry for the challenges your pups face. I appreciate your videos and watch eagerly at what you do with your pets. We'll be (on our path now) entertaining a couple pups aboard ourselves and I'm always curious to know how others handle things. FYI, we've made our own dogfood for years. Works great and usually a blend of chicken or beef (we switch to keep them happy), rice and vegetables. We've had a lot of luck with frozen veggies. Good luck and keep us posted! Thank you for including your babies in your videos!

  9. Got a question, I remember a couple of videos ago you mentioned a missing person, that they found the boat without the person, a friend of mine in Puerto Vallarta went out fishing and came across a body, reported to the Mexican navy, it was an older American gentleman, this was today

  10. So don't drink the local water or eat the dog food?
Fun on the Sea has just been dramatically reduced.

All kidding aside, the pups are lucky to have you as parents.
Oh and btw sea turtles know good people. Gladys was there in case your tender broke down and Penny needed a lift to shore.

  11. Serious prayers for Penny 🙏 and hoping that y’all get some rest💤. Having a sick child is bad, 😢 but having to deal with it in a strange land on a boat is a triple whammy of stresses. 😮 Stay safe. ❤

  12. Just saw your vid for the 1st time. really liked you guys. hope Penny is well. just subscribed to your channel, I'm from the NW too. happy sailing

  13. Great job on this video. Sick kids are rough, but the clip of Penny spred eagle with cone is hilarious. I love dogs! Working my way from the beginning, but loving all the vids.
