insane. i can't even fix the kitchen sink and these guys are doing major repairs in the middle of the ocean
Best offshore sailing, best covering on the internet!
min 3:55 flying
How beautiful is to see all the boats so close at this point
Great suspense. Great leg. Great race. Bon Voyage around the horn.
Another great show. Excellent production and commentary. More and more people will be watching The Ocean Race and inspiring more people to sail.
This show is such a big help to me to understand, what is going on. Thank you for the informations in addition with perfect explaining of the backgrounds.
whats this wonderful strings music at the end ?
Kind of puts my hand sewn luff tapes on a recut (blown out) Challenge 67 heavy kite into perspective. This is extraordinary improvisation. 11th hour main is a treat.
Kudos to 11th hour racing team for coming up with a way to repair that mainsail! I hope it holds together 🙂
Excellent reporting as always. Well done and thank you and your team. 👏
Why is the weather this time around so light. Its so strange being the southern ocean and seeing conditions like this. Is this climate change related just asking
Unbelievable, that after the nautical miles sailed all boats are so close. Phenomenal coverage, the 11th Hour Team certainly had many hours of fixes aboard. Let's hope they stay together until reaching port.
Such amazing coverage!!! Great teamwork!! Can you add an update on how the ice limits are being updated over the race? As the fleet round the north bulge this is really intriguing
Thanks so much, great presentation and very helpful to a passionate, non-sailing fan!
💯
The innovative thought and design of repairs using minimum tools on these four remaining yachts is mind blowing and shows us all that we don’t need to rely on AI to write the answers for us.
Stay safe guys and girls, we care for you all
Wow so fast but all those bits breaking off . Cutting edge experiments flimsy fast .
So fortunate that the weather has allowed all the teams time to tidy up.
This is going to be a heck of a race from here!
Great insights into the why of so many decision seen on the tracker – thank you.
Best presenter in sports! Thanks for this! Great race!
We follow these videos and the teams daily, Disney and Netflix are canceled – thank you.
In the middle of nowhere! Soon to gibe towards Cape Horn. Fascinating sailing indeed!"
@ The Ocean Race
Thanks, great video!
One question though, why is there almost no footage of Malizia?
Hi Niall thanks for your lovely and enthusiatic comments and explanations. ?????? I have a question for you: at 11th Hour there is mostly always someone sitting at the side holding permanently holding a rope in his/her hands and looking out for???? Whats that job for? No other team has someone in this position.
Straighter, stiffer and a little bit more reliable, how we all wish life was easy
Thank you for translating the finger puppet play at Biotherm. I love it 😀.
When I remember the wonderful reports and detailed analysiert and explanations by Andi Robertson at the Vendee Globe, my heart bleeds at these "show clips". Again and again I hope for interesting backgrounds and explanations from Niall Myant-Best and then I am disappointed about the usually only exaggeratedly lurid series of superlatives with weak content and without real expertise.
The Ocean Race would really deserves more and better reporting!
Niall, you are a real star! We are following the race on all available channels, but your commentary is pulling it all together for the us, sitting comfortably at home. I would suggest, you would consider doing this for a living, … but trust that you already do so and be recognized enought for the outstanding job. 😉
What is that thing at the top of the mast with the 3 cameras ?
