Great Vlog as always guys, hope you enjoyed your well deserved rest last week 🙏🙏
In your talk about the depth gauge showing below keel vs below surface makes me wonder. Will Wayfinder do your math? For instance when calculating scope, my understanding is you want distance between the anchor roller and bottom which isn’t either surface or keel depth. And I can’t help but think it would be nice to have something easily switching between surface and under keel. And I suspect on some boats the keel might get deeper than where the transducer is. As I get older the math nerd wants more and more to avoid math.
And unrelated, any chance you could add the music selections to your descriptions?
Think Planting all of the Scottish Flags to make land claims is why you kept falling behind the group. Glad you all made it to 5K.
A proper adventure for sure. I was swatting imaginary mosquitos and spiders from the back of my neck the whole time through the jungle, from my air-conditioned living room. All the while, I'm sitting here with a giant smile on my face. Every escapade we experience with you is such a joy because you bring us along visually and conversationally. I always think it's time for sundowners and a moment of reflection looking out over the back of the boat and watching the tide roll into the evening at the end of each episode. Going the extra mile filming these little capers and carrying the gear isn't easy, but wow, it sure brightens the days here when the alert chimes and a new film shows up. Thanks so much for all the editing and creativity, it's very much appreciated.
Limbo dancing in a dingy…lol
How many miles to the gallon do you get on the motor?
Those charts are designed to make sailors out of you. What would be the fun if they made it easy…🤣😂😵💫
It cost good money to go to Disney land, you get to go on the rides for free…well the ones that make most people sick 🤢. 🤣😂
A guided tour and Dri still manages to get lost 🤣😂. If it was not for Bri you would not experience what other tourists never get to see. See Iain she is good in that respect…🤪
Are you going to buddy boat to the South Pacific ❤🇨🇦
Reading waves. Six are the same seventh different. Get a long long string for lost
Keep it up, your doing great. Love your channel.
thats not a cell tower, it's microwave backhaul. they have very focussed rf energy, you can easily get severe surface burns if you put a limb in the wrong place. or organ damage particularly to eyes.
Another great episode, well done keep it up👍
as always the adventures of you two made me smile, thanks.
I'm actually not surprised about how they measure with their arms. Back in early times of sailing. How they measured their speed was to tie knots on a rope and put it in the water, and that's how they found out how fast they were going. that's how they got the word knots for speed
