Ne uităm la Hunter, Beneteau, Catalina, Morgan și Hans Christian! Vorbim despre cumpărarea de bărci și despre lucruri de folosit pentru a negocia procesul de cumpărare a bărcii.

I was looking at Morgans this weekend…. and was thinking all of the same things you were. And stop giving me reasons to buy a new ipad… ; )
thanks Tim, good video!
👍🍻
Well done.
Wait wait wait, I’m only 1min in… Your insurance wants you to wait til basically the winds coming from the N to cross the Gulf Stream? 😂 I know this is common because of hurricanes but damn
Cheers.
Just re-watched your trip down to the Caribbean and back Tim. Was just as good. I've been subscribed since you were at 12k subs or so. It's awesome to see your subscriber count start to go exponential. It's well deserved.
Question: why are the teak decks dreaded on the Hans Christian boat?
Tim is this beauty “ just” for Bahamas or do you think it’s good to go, like from San Francisco to NY?
Why so much boat? I am under contract for the 2009 Bavaria 34 Cruiser in Grenada. Fits what I want to do – island hop and leave it there. I had a 40 footer once, way more space than I needed. I chartered a Beneteau 323 for a week. About right. The Bavaria line is stronger architecture in my opinion relative to Beneteau.
It would be nice have your opinion on dinghys. Inflatable, nested, home builds and so on. Great episode.
Hey Tim, Things are kinda different out here in BC. Quite a limited choice locally, and large duties
taxes and fees if a person imports from Seattle etc. I sail the protected waters but fish now
and then on the west coast near Bamfield. There is some famous trail along there for some reason.
Thanks for all the great videos!
You may need to check your edit. When talking about the aft cabin and the mattress in the first segment you only show a picture of electronics
Thank you for another awesome video. I would love to see a video on how to use an iPad as your main instrument cluster – interesting idea.
Great run down, several different types all worth considering.
Okay I have to ask, why are you plugging Hunters so well? Is it because Hunters got a bad wrap? Myself I'm not to impressed with the swept back spreaders. It causes problems with the wing on wing or just the main sail. Plus I heard that they aren't to good at heading into the wind. And to me these are very important things not to over look. But yes they usually have all the amenities that you want on a sailboat, but those damn swept back spreaders. Is it easy to change those swept back spreaders or is the undertaking not worth the time. Or have you heard of anyone trying such an adventure. I know the chain plates will have to be changed also but is it worth it? I would appreciate any news about this little adventure. Thank you for your videos.
I think your doing a great job for both the veteran sailors and those new to the sport.
I could buy a nice sailing boat for $80k but it would take more than a $Million,+++ to get my wife on board anything smaller than the Queen Mary
I really like your show. But I’ve got to say that Morgan is in California. It’ll cost you I don’t know 10 to 15% just to get it to the United States (from my perspective, California is no longer in the United States, but in this case, I’ll give you some slack and say the East Coast of the United States) maybe more than that maybe not. You possibly could put it on a semi truck and ship it to the East Coast because they’re all running empty coming back from sending boats from Europe to the West Coast.
Hey Tim, l have missed these. Great episode, l recently upgraded from a 1969 Halvorsen 32ft cut away full keel to a 1994 Beneteau oceanis 400 in Australia. You still pay 90kusd here.
Raise your hand if you have tried to scroll up when the yachtworld add is on the screen.
Very good video… any thoughts on a Brewer 44????
All your boats are overpriced!!
Go with a Catalina 36 or 38!
So, if that Morgan is great because it's derived from the OI, why not just get an actual OI?
Great Episode Tim, and thanks for the Historsea Channel new episode Heads up. Best Wishes and Fair Winds. Bob in Wales. 👍⛵️✨️✨️✨️
He makes a good point about not insisting on a Bluewater boat. When he reviewed Beneteaus recently, he classified a coastal cruiser as a boat designed to go no more than 200 miles offshore. There are plenty of places on the east coast of the USA to explore, including the Chesapeake Bay and the Bahamas that fit into that category. I live in Florida and have recently refitted a 1983 Pearson 303 from the inside out. I have every confidence that she will take me everywhere I want to go.❤
