I'm a Maine lobsterman a 6th generation lobsterman to be exact, I just wanted to comment on the bananas being bad luck this is taken seriously by most Maine salts other superstitions are you are never allowed to whistle on a boat Also bad luck, you can never use the word pig 🐖 hog, pork or any word to describe a pig another one is that it is considered really bad luck to paint your boat blue 🔵 and never change a boats name if you buy one used, keep the name it has. On a lighter note it's considered really good luck to get pooped on by a seagull or any other type of sea bird. And if you ever catch lump fish in your trap you have to kiss it before you throw it back 😜 I'm not ashamed to say i have kissed many o lump fish! Anyway cool videos 👍 and safe travels guys!

12. I have a question I hope u can answer it because I can't find the answer. Why do ppl who do this trip almost ALWAYS leave from San Francisco Bay instead of leaving from San Diego which would be pretty much a straight shot to Honolulu Hawaii?

13. Wow when u went swimming it's so beautiful I could cry. That water is the most beautiful sapphire blue 🔵 when u look down u can see nothing but blue. The visibility is crazy. There was nothing around no whales or fish not even a shrimp lol nothing. What an experience I hope to do this one day. I first saw a group of girls who rowed from San Francisco to Honolulu this summer & I followed their social media post the entire journey whenever they could post. & They swam in the same sapphire blue water you did. I've been interested in boating trips to Hawaii from California every since lol now I can't get enough watching these videos

That sense of adventure is what makes me proud of being white.
