17. Left/Port/Red – all the short words go together (Right/Starboard/Green, long words). This is the only thing I knew about sailing before watching this. Thanks for the education.

41. Easy way to remember port and starboard, stand at the stern (the back), face the bow (the front). Imagine your mast is a big POST, POrt and STarboard.

46. Thank you for posting this video. I'd like to see more sailing for beginners. I'm 45 years old, and I want to buy a boat and sail away. You are inspiring to me. You saw what you wanted and you went for it. My only problem is the I live in the mountains of northeast Georgia. I have to learn to sail in a lake. Once I get certified, I'm buying my forever boat and hitting the 7 seas. Thank you again. I look forward to seeing your new videos.
