NOI AM FĂCUT, AM NAVIGAT PRIN OCEANUL PACIFIC!! - (Episodul 6/6)

I'm sure I missed it in an earlier video, the friendly "competition" with SV Delos….was there any thoughts to the two boats crossing together or trying to hang together as best you could?

  2. In tears watching your arrival, right until the arial shot distracted me in true ADHD fashion "what's with the goats spying on you?" 🙂

  3. Congratulations🎉. The end of this one made my eyes sweat 😢. What a fabulous accomplishment ❤. Cheers to many more nautical miles of smooth sailing and happy adventures. 🍾🥂

  4. Easier than cracking into a container is to just float the eggs in water. Can do multiple at once. If they sink, mint! If they float on the surface, bad! If they sit on the bottom but are trying to float, maybe ok….

  5. From Captain Wally.
Captain Colin gave the best talk to his crew and probably he n those few words made a huge difference in their lives like it was done for me.
    The sea is life.

  6. That’s life!!! My head is spinning ! I think so many are getting closer to understanding life is not what man makes it but what God HAS made it!

  7. HELL YEAH !!!!! We wanna join the next leg of Parlay's journey !!!! I'm pretty good at fixing shit, and my girl cooks really daggone well – plus she's a badass… Presently living aboard our boat in NC, USA, but always looking for new adventures. You guys need crew? We're your Huckleberries..

  8. Such beautiful 'Words' Colin….. Congratulation to You and ALL the Crew …. Thanks too for taking us All along with You Guys and YES, It could see, hear and feel Your Emotions ….. Very Best wishes from ChCh , NZ

  9. It’s like reading a great book and you’re on the last chapter, you just want more chapters! I have looked forward to this every Sunday. Loved watching each one of you, all special. Thanks for taking us along.

  10. You worked SUUUUUPER hard, prepared supremely well, you have the leadership skills and chose very well your crew, and it all shows. Kudos to your long time homie Jamie as well. I kinda think he thinks this is all worth it now. He doesn't seem to ruffle much, and is a great glue for crew unity and morale as well. And the "old guy"? Well he did great and the gal who had ever sailed? That's some tuff stuff, man.

  11. In 10 months I will be making this same trip on a mono hull. I've been planning the trip for 5 years. I've been on the edge, teetering on "Do I" or "Do I not." This journal of your passage has really been incredible, watching you from Parsifal to Parlay has been the thing that finally pushed me to do it. Yesterday I signed the papers for my sailboat. God Bless you Collin. Thank you.

  12. So happy for all of you but especially you and and Jamie because I know what you’ve both put in to get there. An absolutely incredible amount of resilience and determination, you deserve every bit of all the joy and pride you feel for achieving what you set out to! And so wonderful to have shared the journey with so many people. Very proud of you both. Much love ❤

  13. Truly epic folks. Y’all have a bunch to be proud of but perhaps the feeling of being at peace in your hearts is the best reward for all those sacrifices endured. Quite a jolly crew and happy dogs. All the puzzle pieces found and fit!!! Congratulations.

  14. The Marquesas are one of the most spectacular arrivals from a sea passage, and your video captured it to a T! So proud of you achieving your goal. And thank you for a great series of videos documenting your passage.
One question: You do know that Fatu Hiva is not a clearance port? While you can anchor, going ashore is not OK. Hiva Oa is the nearest port where you can complete your entry documents for French Polynesia and you really should have sailed there first, before coming to another island. Breaking the rules just makes it harder for every cruiser coming after.

  15. Dip your eggs in mineral oil it will last up to a year unrefrigerated. Put them in a bowl of water if they float their bad. Sink and good.

  16. The easiest way to know if an egg is bad is to fill a bowl with cold water and place your eggs in it. A good egg will go to the bottom immediately and lay on its side. A bad egg will float because the air cell forms at the base of the egg. If an egg sinks but does not lay flat, it is borderline and might be just as well to dump it.

  17. Well done guys and girls. An absolute blinder of an episode. So glad you all made it there safely, and what a view!! Congratulations to you all and safe onward travel. I'll be watching
