1. Man, I don't see how the insurance company won't come through, especially seeing as you have it documented by video! Just glad your okay.

  2. Round Hatteras in December? I’ve never known a voyage that attempted this after November 1 that was successful. I’ve known several boats that tried and were lost at sea.
Insurance? Not worth the money. Better to own your boat outright and if worst comes to worse, walk away.

  3. Hmmm..Cape Hatteras weather always sux….Its the #1 area that all the hurricanes comes into….It's the "Bermuda Triangle " on the east coast..Avoid it like the plague, dude……It's a dam wonder you die out there…..Don't sail Cape Hatteras EVER !!!!

  4. What happend with the weather was the forecast completely off? I remember an interview with some other sword boat captains after the movie "Perfect Storm" they said once you get out to seat these boats are too slow to get back to port before weather hits just have to ride them out.

  5. Just watched the pay per view. So the soot looks like a pretty big fire arhat was put out by the incoming water? Fuck man. If that fire made it out of the engine bay you would have been screwed. How would you rescue your self? That little dingy would not have done the job right?

  6. Just donated and watch the video, you were lucky for sure, I am retired Coastie and sadly have went out many many time to assist other in similar situation and sadly most did not make out like you did. Glad you did, sorry about the lack of insurance coverage, but hopeful the donation and possilbe affliate links will get you back up and sailing in a reasonable time. I will say glad you pointe out about having the epirb and ACS on you and the PFD.

  7. Bobby, I was happy to make a contribution, been sailing for 49 years and I get it, bad stuff happens. You are indeed a generous man and you help out so many people, it was time for us to help you out. Best of luck with the new boat. Peace, Bob

  8. Late to the news…. this explains your MV video I just saw….. you got viewers to buy for you. Sounds like you decided to not fix the SV and buy the MV? Now you will be Motorboating Doodles. Good luck…. The Sea can be a cruel mistress.

  9. sorry sport…suck it up .when shit happens normal people put aside beaches, bikinis and booze then take care of business…
i cannot imagine after all this time you aren't aware of insurance ,weather and been on top of maintenance on that boat…the latter especially after watching you rush to get sailing without spending enough time after purchase making it seaworthy
as a sailor and a corporate pilot myself i find myself amazed at the lack of pre-planning for contingencies shown here
good luck but i'm not paying for your mistakes

  10. This came as a recommendation and subscribed a day or two ago. Getting caught up with episodes—Cool journeys, beautiful scenery, sailing, and a little T&A—what’s not to like, right ? Well, an ex pilot looking for donations and handouts in this episode and coming from a guy that doesn’t take care of his business. And because of that, I’m out — unsubscribe.

  11. Don't drink and sail or go to sea! Navigate with the Lords 'blessing of Tender Mercies that come with a sober mind ,in the Name of the Master of the Salient Seas, the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen.

  12. I have been through that rough weather there at the Cape in a C&C 30. The water will literally blows out from under you in lots of places also makes the sand move like desert sand dunes move.. Not a good place to sail at all in the winter months. Very deadly. Glad you got help before sinking.

  13. sorry bro, all these patrons give you money to bring all these beautiful women out there & you don't get any tail in return. they pay for you to pay for them. at least get some. we are all trying to survive. don't ask for $$$. that makes you look desperate.

  14. What a crock of shit, doesn’t anybody have insurance ? Hey everybody with jobs, do some extra work and send me some money. 😂😂😂😂. This is about the fifth video I’ve seen of people destroying their boat then pleading for people to give them money. 🤮🤮🤮

  15. I wish I had been a subscriber back when this video was posted but I just found your channel a few days ago February 2022. So I know you are back on the water because I’ve already watched season 7. I’m so glad your fans were able to help you. I know I would have helped you out. In fact I’m going to become a patron because I enjoy your content and not just for the eye candy. Cheers
