  1. I love the video. The falling asleep in the dingy clutching the handle is an awesome indication the adventure was fully satisfying. Good for you both to shift gears and find your new version of thrills.

  2. although this is a exciting life style, being a captain and spending most of my life in.on and under the ocean as you know the ocean can be unpredictable I hope you never find yourself in a dangerous situation, which unfortunately is just a matter of time…

  3. You guys made me cry. You are amazing people. What you are doing for your children will benefit them for the rest of your and their lives. Bravo! If only the world would follow your lead. Great vid, thank you! Happy holidays and looking forward to your next vid. Glad you are in the Caribbean (my fav). Hope to see you on the sea one day.

  4. Oh I really liked this episode, magical. When Willa kisses Bodhi and Willa holding Dexters hand made me cry…. What a life you live and congrats to kitesurfing again Ashley! Thanks for this week!

  5. I think , the biggest disadvantage is that your kids don’t interact with kids of the same age – not sure what the impact is when they are old, having raised our kids I noticed this is a very important for them growing up for a multitude of reasons, but leave it for the experts to comment or give their advice…

  6. Before the age of about three kids are booting up their operating system. They can't yet write to their long term memory so it's unlikely they will remember anything so use this time to mature them and don't bother with travel or new adventures because they won't remember it.

  7. When are you going to teach the kids to navigate by stars and sextants? And how many UFO's have you seen, and if they offered Y'all a ride on their space ship, would you go?

  8. I've commented before in a positive way but my heart is in my mouth when the kids are not wearing their life jackets. You two can swim, they cant. If one of you children fall over board it's going to take a time for you to 1 realise their not there and 2 to down sail and go back. Having life jackets on will give them and you a fighting chance to rescue them. I don't think I'm being over protective just common sense, they can't swim? I too had fun with my son and put him in situations which could of caused him harm. He's now 27 and rock climbing, jump biking, down hill racing etc. but he uses all the equipment to keep himself safe.
Don't make life more difficult than it needs to be, your amazing parents keep up the good work ❤

  9. You're doing great with your kids, the people that give you a hard time are the same parents who's kids aren't allowed to clime a tree 2mtrs off the ground and still do their washing and make their bed for them in their 30s

  10. You are some of the most caring parents I’ve come across in awhile. You guide your children very similar to the Montessori methods with philosophical thoughts that children learn and respect through guidance rather than lectures and boundaries. To encourage their curiosity with observation and guidance, allowing them to explore, be accountable and to learn from their actions. My favorite Montessori quote, ‘The greatest sign of success is to be able to say, “The children are now working as if I did not exist.” Keep up your wonderful parenting. ❤️

  11. At least if your children (when they grow up) can't quite remember the fabulous life they're living right now, they can always look back at these movies….
Living the dream most of us wish we could.

  12. Great to see Ashley back out on a board, and rocking her freckles in a two-piece. The channel was build on the combination of her bad ass vibe and Ben's goofy giant thing, and though the camera is drawn to those kids, it's nice to the double act still in good form.

  13. Ben, you are SO correct to honor "moms"( different from mother). AND Dads!!!! There are too many "parents" today that are not involved. And You and Ashley showing people it can be done and SHOULD be done!!!!

  14. EXCELLENT video…I love how you let your children have experiences without being micromanaged. Ashley, 4 1/2 years not wind surfing you looked like a pro…thank you for taking us along.

  15. Hi Ben & Ashleigh
Just want to let you both know how awesome you both are!! Having 2 children is hard enough little lone on a boat! Amazing work with all your trips circumnavigating around the entire world 🌍! Please don’t listen to the horrible comments people are just jealous that you are living a wonderful lifestyle! Keep on sailing ⛵️ we think you are doing an excellent job parenting! You are doing everything with your children and they are growing up in an awesome environment. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  16. We cruise full times with 3 kids under 6 years old. I see all those people doing kiting and it looks really fun, but I always wondered how the hell they have the time to do that. Glad to know I'm not alone!
