Why didn’t you listen to me when I told you to fix the vibrations before you left😅
You should go to the Pacific Northwest. The islands make for great sailing and it is beautiful. If you go in the summer, it will be a nice 70-80 degrees.
Thanks Sam. Always enjoy your videos.
Waves in the med have a much shorter throw.
I sailed for 15 years in the Mediteranean Sea and I can say having see the right sails is extremly important. Among all the sails you can have the diesel is the most important one, just before the storm sail. 😁
And remember, it took 10 years to Ulysses to do roughly 500 or 600NM.
Not a hope of a permanent correct alignment with those engine mounts. The flanges must be within 1 thou of and inch for every ft of shaft in the boat. Engine out and replace them asap; but I doubt that will happen
Hi, nice video! What’s the name of the app/software on your mobile to show the wind data (aws/tws/)? How you made the fotos at 20:40? By drone?
What shall we do with the h.. lonely sailor, heading up the Adria 😅
I'm sorry but throwing the frying pan into the sea did make me laugh. On top of everything else..no wind, wonky engine…
That’s a good lesson for Sam you need tools for your boat/yacht specially when you’re out to see like you are most of the time
Dont get jack beaned out there
Hey Man – do you have to change the engine oil every fifty hours – Does you Engine OEM recommended this ??? I am a Caterpillar service Engineer and the recommendation is every 250 hours – if you have a deeper sump tank like they do for marine Engines we change oil once every 500/ or 1000 hours on big engines that have 600 liters of oil- please check your OEM manual???
I have never been sailing and want to do so in future and was wondering if after a long trip at sea when you get back to land and lay in bed does it feel as if you are still rocking?
Grab your rod and reel and do some fishing the next time you're in the doldrums.🎣
Have I missed something….where is the window from the front of the dodger?
You are in the "doldrums". Out of 100% sailing, 35% horrific waves strong winds, 20% on the nose winds, 20% beautiful weather, gentle breezes from the stern, 25% no wind or variable winds or squalls. But very rarely two days the same.
Awesome video as usual that moon and the volcanic Wowza good job on that engine woop woop 😊
Sam nice juggling …you did not clean that bottom off? Nice sailing stay safe out there you the man climbing the mast solo!
The MED seems wild. Either LOADS of wind, or none.
So, a new frying pan is on your Christmas wish list, then? 😊🤗👍. In spite of everything, it still looks like a great adventure. It’s always a great start to the day to see one of your videos! ❤❤

I think you got your money out of those motor Mounts. Good show. Do you have a web page
Do you have a horizon vane? Do you like it? THXS. Gertjan
You deserve extra credits for climbing the mast with Crocs 😂
It may seem like an obvious question, but why go all the way to Turkey then immediately turn back all the way to Croatia? There will be a reason no doubt but it's not altogether clear.
The fishes will appreciate the non-stick quality of the frying pan..
It's a shame that you're rushing through this beautiful island world. But I enjoy your videos anyway.
I've been wondering if a security camera DVR setup would work for creating B-roll etc – an external audio recorder would be needed of course.
Ought you have put back the front window bolts into their holes in order to prevent water ingress in the holes?
Love your juggling Sam👍👍👍
Sam, I have sailed these waters quite a bit, you need to carry more fuel on board(spot the obvious!)
I have seen more wildlife there than I have ever seen in my life!!
Greece is a challenge to sail, that’s why it’s so popular 👍👍
