Vizităm o epavă misterioasă - navigând în Patagonia! [Ep. 136]

1. Love your videos. Kate almost broke out into a happy dance at 9:24 with a wind speed of 3 knots and boat speed of 4. Editing and blend of music is great. Keep having fun, stay warm and stay safe. Bill

  2. How are you keeping the ice from forming on your decks and lifelines etc, everything looks so clean and safe… just curious…. John, Ontario, Canada

  3. is chafe a problem with an inner forestay? looks like your jib/jib sheets pass over it a lot? ( I'm guessing at the nomenclature.. not a sailor)

  4. I live just north of there a ways near Puerto Octay, we have lived here 10 years now, but I visited Bahia Aldunate recently and Puerto Cisnes by boat. We definitely got Patagonia fever. We were down there in March 2023.

I will say we like the warmer weather where we are just a few days north.
    Thank you for the video.
    Jim in Chile.

  5. Good thing you guys are not in the Caribbean. At those speeds, it would be embarrassing to have a paddle board or two go by at high rate of speed and have one of them ask if you needed a tow. LOL

  6. Don't know why I haven't asked before but with three shore lines out, does the anchor do anything? Or is it just helpful getting those lines out and back in? I am guessing the anchorages are tight making swing control worth the effort of putting those lines out. This is something we should practice, though we tend to much more crowded anchorages

  7. Are there any dangerous animals on any of those islands? If not then what is the dominant animal group? Any Kakapo equivalents? What about rodents and deer? And midges?

  8. IMO, the best sailing channel on YT bar none. The spectacular scenery, the remoteness, the navigation and arriving in distant places is fascinating. The bonus for us, is experiencing the highly experienced sailing skills of these two….thanks you so much for the never ending, exciting and interesting content.

  9. She Sings To…! Kate, the gift that just keeps giving… 😆 (Best ask Santa for some Gloves for Christmas… 😉 ) Hey… Stunning as usual guys… Be safe… 🙏
