All the outstanding cat racers in the continental US & Spithill gets another season.
Great racing!
Poor starts from GB !!
AC40' are coming are you ready?
The Brits need a different start strategy – too cautious and safe compared to front runners
Why is Phil Harris going to the edges …same shit he did last season…thats where he lost it…dude you would learn from last year..
Australia moving through the field like the Death Star got me roflolling!
Team NZ where well clear of the French at Mark 2!! Umpire needs classes! If there was any doubt of Bouy room for the French they would not have been behind NZ at the turn.
when does commentary start?
How come the commentators are talking about USA while the AUS team passed #1 CAN? More incompetence from sailGP
Amazing racing
Heil is geil
…first day racing for Team Germany. All sailors best of luck, bon chançes, thrilling races and may the best win.
Race 1start… Spain WTF!!??
Who is Spithill paying off for this gig?
FFS if we're going to lose, can't we lose with an American skipper?
I think the US is slow.
Well start of season 4 ya but it looks like the same old usa team near the bottom of the pack.
Puffs, shifts, crossings, etc…that's sail boat racing. But all we hear from the commentators is "look how fast" and "isn't this cool" and so many other meaningless statements. Literally just turn them off half the time. When the spectacle of these boats, which are the most amazing race boats ever, starts to get old, it's the RACING that'll keep people interested. And without some good analysis, new fans that haven't raced boats will never figure it out and become permanent fans.
Hey Ben lets see how slow you can cross the start line in all the races, what like last season, yes Ben the same strategy.
Go canada!
Hey Phil…you do realize you don’t have to go out to the boundary lines at every leg of the race. You are just giving away leads to others who are sailing closer to the wind than you!
Ben Ainsley and his contrarian start strategies didn’t work last year and aren’t working this year
1’08” Run Bernardo FREITAS, run! Corre hombre!
Salt water obviously affects buoyancy…but once on foils surely marginal difference ?
Narration would be easier to understand without the background chatter.
Everytime that commentator says "Rolls the dice and Comes up Yahtzee!" You have to take a drink. You may also show a Protest flag and a collision is allowed. In fact it is Mandatory.
@sailgp 🆘 fans from Italy cannot watch – message says "the uploader of this video hasn't made it available in your country"
Spithill, get your team straight, ffs.
When is Ben Ainslie going to learn that speed and momentum are needed at the start? That’s what the Ozzies and Kiwis do!
90 deg to the wind is not the fastest angle on a foiling boat its way more than that 1:12:05
Come on France you need to be the first team to cross the line going over 100 kph
I think SailGP needs a couple of sailing commentators…these ppl are really dismal.."going fast" just dosent cut it..they sound like a bunch of gossiping old hens
Too much talk.
I was to say the least a bit disappointed in the races. Bring back Bermuda.
unbelieveable .. Americans are in 7th place and the commentators are talking about them and not the first 6 place ppl,… like the start .. who was first up at the first race … well they dont care… lets see what the americans are doing …shape up commentators.. or ship out and give us some sailors talking
What's up with the USA ?
The preamble is a tediumamble.
Watch the race in any speed you like as long as it's not the one unit of measurement a sailor would want. Fans of sailing are not part of the target demographic for SailGP.
More than 3 seasons have passed and I haven,t seen Ainslie start anywhere near the windward mark, not once. When you’re that low on the line you can never bear away to build speed. Useless tactics.
I wished that I could be happy for USA, but it seems we're horrible at this or we have THE WORST luck in sailgp.
Great to see that Germany is there. Let's go and show what we have.
Be really good to see GB drop the 'safe' starts they always use instead of speed at the line. Another very disappointing day, and even their good result was not achieved by a good start. Soon be time to think of a change of skipper.

Race 1 start 17:57
Race 2 start 45:22
Race 3 start 1:11:41
Only reason Jordan didn´t 4-peat was because he "retired" for two seasons to play baseball. Not really a comparison then, is it?
France pisses me off!
USA needs a new skipper, race 1 & 2 looks like they took a dump on the race course
It is so great to hear Jennie’s voice. Keep her expertise and knowledge continuing please.
