1. As for the music … there’s only “bongo drums” that need to be further exploited and expanded upon … and it ain’t from Offspring or any other well known band

  2. Here is some advice on the music issue. I am a retired Motion Pictur eand video producer and director. I did it all my life from age 23until I retried at 70 years old. I did a variety of motion picture and video programs. Ten or so were designed for television broadcast. There is where I won the Emmy awards.

I produced a 4 screen multi image presentation that ran at Opryland USA. The program told the history of The Grand Old Opry. The show had an original music sound track to match the era and style of the music. It was recorded at the Glaser Brothers Studio in Nashville. Two of the artists that played on the soundtrack were John Hartford (who wrote Gentle on My Mind) and, a blind piano player by the name of Pig Robbins, who played hundreds of sessions.

There are times when you have to use original or known music. The rest of the time there are thousands of music cuts that will do just fine for the style of work you shoot and edit. In your case the video, events, you and your guests plus the location are the stars of the video.

I watched this video and the music clip you added was annoying. It was a distraction. If there are local bands and musicians; slip them a few $$$$'s and record them.

Save you money and purchase more airline tickets, food and side trips to enhance the video'(s).

Your production skills have improved greatly from the early chapters.

The biggest issue is …. Hold the camera as still as you can. Shaky cam drives the audience crazy. You are better than most but be conscious about it when shooting.

If you want me to critique one of your episodes let me know and I will provide one free of charge.

  3. As viewers we definitely appreciate your willingness for feedback with the music.

As for my opinion, I hands down prefer your previous music style. Watching your channel allows people to really feel like they where there experiencing the amazing trips you take. The previous music style, the more tropical feel, makes me feel like I’m there living that moment.

    Hope this helps,
    Fellow boater

  4. I can't believe how many B.S. stories there are about the history of Absinthe. It never should have been banned in the US. Only the last 10 years can you get it back in the states. Love it.

  5. I say skip the "premium music" and just use Epidemic Sound (or one of the other free sources) and do everything like you usually do. I do enjoy the 75+% bikini use.
