  1. Great buy of your new outboard many happy trips
But you always need a teather between your outboard and boat as they do jump off !!! be on the safe side
    Cheers Barry Marbella Spain

  2. We had a pin to the upper shroud failure on a boat that was raced hard almost weekly for 10 years. Repaired the mast sailed another 5 years, sold the boat. Did not have chain plate failure. Replace all pins, be sure to check at least twice.

  3. Studio 54 at sea, I love it ! I was thinking as you worked on the boat I had rather repair it than pay for it. I built our house in 1995 and paid it off in three years because we didn't get a loan for a lot of money. It wasn't completely finished inside but it was livable. It was easier to work on once we moved in and over the next year it was finished. Not having a mortgage was great and no one else will spend the time to do it the way you will. Merry Christmas guys and thanks for the videos

  4. Glad to see you back…missed you these last two months. I live on a 42 foot Ketch on the Chesapeake. I don't do a lot of sailing and have no plans for voyaging. I spend lots of time working on the boat, trying to bring it up to it's natural state of grandeur. I've gotten plenty of time on the water exploring with my various dinghys and skiffs with small outboards. usually get out for a few hours four or five days a week in the three good seasons. My sweetheart loves taking pictures of the wildlife and fishing. Latest skiff is a 14 foot aluminum boat with many many years and miles of history. We love it, and spend more time on the water than anyone else in the marina.

  5. Love the "Start first pull" line, yeah it never works for most of us either.
It's really a laugh when someone else is spitting mad after spending hours trying to start one and you notice they have the ignition kill switch in the off position.

  6. Keep the videos coming, really enjoy them! It Will be great to see you get back on the water! Have a very merry Christmas, and a wonderful new year full of much joy and blessings.

  7. What an awesome idea. Learn your boat inside and out by fixing a $10,000 boat. Less to figure out when on the sea. All tools figured out, spare parts, hoses, pulleys, belts ect. The two of you make for great entertainment. Thank you both. Greetings from Ontario

  8. I've watched quite a few of your videos. Do you guys ever actually go sailing anywhere. You seem to spend your time dockside doing repairs which is interesting but…thanks for the channel and your opening song is great.

  9. Helen looked so lovely in the red dress and white top, I'm more of a conservative look liker. anyway that wasn't my real comment, when are you guys getting out sailing, I'm stuck and living my life through others, Sailing Jupiter is land bound, so I'm missing sailing videos ⛵⛵🙂🙂

  10. Those carpenter ants are gonna want to get someplace warm. I think I’d set about five cans (maybe more???) of those b/mbs and run like heck for a couple days and take a break? Make sure all ports and hatches that lead outside are closed tightly.
Open all the cabinet doors, prop up mattresses, cushions remove any storage covers……. first. Put ‘‘em in all compartments….Caramel macchiato, my favorite too ❤❤😂😂 Get that motor locked down, secure (maybe with chain(s) the dingy too. Have a can of Lysol and a lighter handy inside the cabin 😉 Practice makes pretty darn good aim.

  11. Greetings from the Emerald Isle , captainn Farrell's Land
Loving the series of Video Productions, equally entertaining and educational
    Long may they Continue

  12. Friend of mine bought a Tohatsu after extensive research, ages ago. And we couldn't start it. After an hour I took a break and just thought about it, then I told him to get out of the way, and I started it right up.
Yohatsu was new to the US at the time, and the instruction manual had the choke position backwards. That's the only problem he ever had with it.
You might want to get a new spare impeller and shaft seal. Fishing line can cut the seal, and the impeller needs to be changed yearly. Both will be out of stock when you do need them.😮
