  1. I live just off the Ches. Bay about 12 miles north of Solomons Island and have sailed the area for years. The Bay can go from a totally flat and still pond to a very scary monster with every condition in between. Solomons area is a very relaxing peaceful and picturesque place especially first thing in the morning.

  2. Beau and Brandi sailing! I wore the t-shirt you gave me for my Ireland trip!’ Back now and enjoying your blog- love the Heidi braids Brandi- so cute! Looks like you guys are freezing- do touch miss the Caribbean now?! Hahaha 😂 hugs 🥰 your friend, Mike

  3. Youre actually the only channel i know who does not use a rolling furling jib.
Also, i really like you guys, go get that warm weather, don't stop sailing untill you see palmtree''s 😉

  4. When sailing wing on wing with a poll and a preventer, It takes time to change sheets setup if you need to give way.
That's why, when WoW, you should take the main to the left and the head to the right, the opposite to what is seen in the movie. With main on the left you don't need to give way.

  5. Thanks for all the effort to make such great content … much appreciated 👏!! Love you guys and can’t wait to see you back in the balmy Bahamas 🏝☀!!!

  6. I just have to say, I think you guy's have become quite soft. Up here in Canada the fun just gets started at 50 knots of wind. However you did learn how to keep your head warm, good job. 👍🇨🇦 Lol.

  7. From northern Canada. Beau complaining about being cold, and here I am scraping antifouling at -20 C because it is finally warm enough to do boatwork. No sympathy my friends. (Although the touque made me feel a little fuzzier inside.) I can hardly wait to be as soft about weather but as hardened as you guys are at sailing!

  8. You are sailing with the main sheeted in too much for a dead run. Actually you are sailing with it over sheeted for a beam reach. You are leaving a lot of speed untapped plus making the boat much more difficult to steer. When goosewinged aim for tight leaches by using the vang/ preventer and pole downhaul & sheet.

  9. Do they make a system that is mechanical for changing sails like on separate lines to the bow like 1 button per sail so theres no need to go to the bow in bad weather ?

  10. Dang! Missed you guys. I live just across the river from Solomons Island. We keep our Pearson at the Navy Base

  11. Wonderful seeing your video of Mill Creek at Solomons Island. If you had come up the creek another quarter mile we would have seen you anchored. The cold north winds of the Chesapeake can be brutal. We have had some challenging times out there around the NAS Patuxent River Targets.

  12. great looking jackets worn by a great looking couple……can't wait for some new videos of you both snorkeling and diving in 80 degree water……safe and happy sailing ⚓🏖🏝😎

  13. Hi my sweeties. Just watched your video while waiting for my flight back to FL..
Brandy you sounded like you had a cold or we’re getting one… do if you have raw honey on board take tablespoon full twice a day and hot tea…
    Honey’s a natural antibiotic…
I feel your pain with the cold flying from Chicago back to Ft Lauderdale… can’t wait for the heat again…
    Love yous !!! -elsa

  14. If you haven’t passed Cape Fear yet, you should stop into Southport, NC. A little drinking town with a big fishing problem.

  15. The experts says : You can ONLY call it constant wind IF the windspeed is constant blowing with THE SAME SPEED fore at minimum of 10 min straight : )
