  1. Hi guys I’ve once criticised you about mooring to trees , I’ve not YET lost an anchor but come very very close , great video , everything at sea is about how you respond to problems .s..t just happens. Your team are great .

  2. Oh my goodness… Capt could you please eat a golf ball (taste needs to be revealed!!) and let these people sleep at night… everyone actually thinking that the golfballs are doing harm to the environment… I mean if it did of course you would brag about it… or don’t you use sea turtles to bring them back to the boat so you can use them again??… dolphins maybe??!! Wow

  3. Great video. Love the behind the scenes details. It is a good mix of inside and outside operations. Usually the videos are over-weighted towards the outside operations.

  4. Hey, thanks for throwing all your plastic golf balls in our Mediterranean sea ! Can see you've got a great ethic there, keep it up !

  5. Absolutely the Captain is responsible no matter how or why the chain wasn't secured. A captain should never shift blame away even to a crew member that made a mistake, though a private dressing down later would be in order. In the haste of securing the watercraft any number of things could have gone wrong as it happened in pressing, stressful, and less than ideal conditions, and it's not a perfect world, now is it? Frankly, it was worth the look on Paul's face was priceless when he fessed up to how it happened, and worth the mishap since property was recovered and all crew safe.

  6. Lucky you only have a short chain for shallow waters, made the retrieval a lot easier!
And you are not the first, or the last to have droped the anchor and chain that way!! 😉

  7. Shout out to Courtenay for her super insights BTS. So interesting to see the efforts of stewards/detailers and efforts creating the onborad hospitality vibe. She is a natural communicator in front of the camera. Well done to her and the superb Loon Team. Thanks to Captain Paul for allowing us on board : – )

  8. Maybe I missed it, but how do they retrieve the golf balls from the water? If they stay in the water, I'm not sure it is very eco-friendly.

  9. I love watching Motor Yayght Loon videos, great boat, great crew – but, very disappointed to see you hitting golf balls (tradh) into the ocean 😢

  10. In CAPT Paul's defense, I would not think you would have to check if the anchor chain is attached when leaving a ship/boatyard (or the builder)!! Also a word to Temp Stew Dani, this was a job interview of sorts. I'm sure Chief Stew Courtney would agree! Cheers!

  11. Yet again, another amazing Loon video. Well Done CPC for admitting a mistake, it’s a sign of strength. Great Drone shots. Awesome video once again.. x

  12. Haven’t seen Max for some time, is she still on the crew? Hope I haven’t asked a difficult question. Great update BTW, loved it, and we have all lost an anchor at some stage! 😬

  13. Phew thought Loon had lost one of her anchors. Nice recovery of it and good skills marking the gos location and for leading by example and taking responsibility. We arrive in Italy this Sunday and thanks for messaging back that Loon wont be down in Italy while we are there. Greg 🇬🇧
