  1. To tell the truth, I have no affinity for superyachts or really boats in general but this is fascinating information. I make things and after looking at this series, I think the level of workpersonship and what it takes to make a ship like this, it should cost more than it does. Congrats to us humans for being to make something like this.

  2. It's funny how there is such a range of openness in the superyacht world. You have some crews telling you that they don't want you to film their vessel at all, and then there is this gracious crew (and owner!) letting you film everything, and even give demonstrations of how things work, such as the watertight doors. I've gotta say, this is an incredibly impressive yacht and crew!

  3. I am impressed with the new electronics. Is there a system to warn the crew of hidden obstacles? We have it for aviation.

  4. Very interesting, you do a wonderful job on explaining things, closing the water tight doors brings back memories of when I used to have to do it on the SS.Norway.

  5. On the Bridge: When they build a yacht, do they choose from standard bridge equipment and install that, or does each ship get a customized bridge assembled from various sdards components but packaged with custom console and placement of all the buttons?
Is this bridge unique to My Legacy, or could it be found more or less the same on some other ship?

  6. If I move throttle on the bridge, do throttles in engine room and the docking mini bridge move to match position? When I press button to take control of engine, do my throttles then move to match their current settings? Or would ship instantly go to "idle" speed if the guty in engine room presses button to take control and the engine room throttle is at idle?

  7. After launched, does a ship ever get powered down fully? All gadgets including bridge equipment shut down with no power? Would this happen outside of dry dock? or is a ship expected to remain powered on 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for its lifetime even during a refit in dry dock? (full shutdown would run down any battery backups for fire alarm and other stuff as well).

  8. Wow! thank you and thank you to the crew for allowing these tours. I was of two minds should I watch this technical one but I am so glad I did. So much new gear since my days which i finished as a captain under 500 ton. We were trained on gear as would be expected in bigger ships but even that was no where near what I see today and I guess some of this has already been superseded.

  9. It's pristine compared to the ships I worked on. Very impressive. The forepeak storage didn't look at all secure for sea mind you

  10. Hello, would a typical yacht like this require a technical officer type role? To manage the technical A/V equipment in the racks ? Or would the staff be responsible for all the internet, AV technical equipment?

  11. Ref fire extinguishers in engineroom AFFF (foam) are used to prevent fires mostly by spraying engines and bilges when you get a leak on high pressure fuel pipes before resorting to misting and if a fire breaks out get out close all vents and doors start fire suppression and cool bulkheads decks and sides to prevent spread of fire everyone should know what the various extinguishers are and what to do in case of emergency stay safe Steve

  12. Night mode cams and thrusters would work for me. Live forward looking cam is a nice, and safe, luxury. Hiring crew is more about knowlege and experience, not payroll dollars, IMO.

  13. 140.000 liters of fuel – thats lots of fuel)
I wonder what the fuel consumption is at cruising speed., when drifting with a wave suppression and point-holding system., and just staying on anchor from a small generator ?

  14. Thanks again for the great tours – this was an excellent set of four! I'm glad that there is somebody that is actually interested in education, instead of just envious nonsense You've been a real blessing. Thanks again, Geoff Rohde

  15. Can you do a video on approximately what it costs to maintain a yacht of this size for one year? Including docking/mooring fees, full crew, fuel, catering, insurance, vessel maintenance + periodic upgrades (exterior, interior, short + long term), electronics maintenance + periodic upgrades, electronics + annual communication fees ( like Starlink + Garmin), cleaning (inside + outside) – everything you can think of? I'm sure I've left something important out. I would find a thorough analysis of this very interesting. Thank you.

  16. Is the casing within which the retractable keel moves up and down completely watertight? If it is not, with the yacht knocked down onto its beam ends, that would be a way for water ingress.

  17. WITH ALL THE MONEY OF PEOPLE WITH EXCESS, WHY THEY DON'T SPEND IT TO HELP OTHERS
IS MIND BLOWING. AT THE SAME TIME THE HINGES THAT HOLD THE DOORS ON THIS BAZILLION DOLLAR SHIP USES ARE THE SAME HINGES AS MOST CABINETS USE !

  18. These are my fave vids! Owner rooms kinda bore me, the deep engineering spaces are where it’s at!

If I were to win some huge lottery, I’d be the annoying owner walking thru every nook and cranny, asking what each button does, lol!

  19. Thank you. What a clean, luxurious ship. One ferry I worked on had some of her bunks running fwd to aft, against the hull. She rolled so badly we had to tuck our life jackets under our mattress to keep from being thrown out. Some crew cabins had four bunks for stewards.
I’m just amazed by the cleanliness of this ship, especially her engine room.😊

  20. Satellite!!!
Dear eSysman, you are a seaman, you crossed the oceans, you have never seen that water can build up water mountains. You will have noticed that water is always level, even the waves, build up by wind, are in their own way level. The horizon is always at eye level, there is no exception. That is not possible on a balls earth! The earth circle we live on is a wide plane. Satellites can not orbit over a flat earth. Every thing about space travel is a science fiction, Elon Musk sells science fiction movies of rockets going into space. One giveaway with huge rockets is, they always go very quickly into a bend flight state. A rocket engine that burns gases does not work in a vacuum! A rocket engine like a jet engine need air to push against to move forward. Try a hand out a driving cars window. Try it out with a hair dryer, you have to hold your hand behind the air outlet, only then will it move in a circular movement if you hold it on the electrical court. Otherwise, it moves chaotic, but never forward. All so-called satellite communication stations are land based, including Starlink, they have very seldom publicised and seen, very wired looking huge antenna. If you observe transoceanic flights, there are certain areas where their coordinates in flight are not updated on flight information sites. Like parts of the South Atlantic had no communication before Starlink. GPS works in our days mostly through the smartphone cellular network antenna stations, this is what made it possible to fine-tune the standpoint position. The world we supposedly live in is a lie, fake facts, fake science, to make it easer to control us the people by the shadow ruler. Keep the plebs confused! TV and now the internet, plus the print media, are all propaganda tools of the same shadow ruler. Trumps stolen 2020 stolen election victory and Corona-COVID19 reporting are prime examples.
