Great demo and thanks for keeping the demo/vid short. Over boarding info makes for a long difficult and boring vid. Short Vids open the door for discussing and question.
My question is, the sail needs to be in a constant airfoil shape the relative wind to produce move and is really drawn along by the seed of the wind/air over the forward side of the sail/wing ? I look forward to a brief actual demo,,,thank you

Wonderfully comfortable voice beautifully explaining the basics of sailing believes the trepidation I suffered every time I set sail. But then I did self teach at over 60 years old in a congested little harbour.
This was so helpful! We've been sailing our little Catalina 22 for a year now and have taken a few ASA classes, but this video made a lot of sense and I learned from it. If you have one that includes how and when to use your traveler, I'd love to see that because I'm not sure we are doing it completely right and could use some pointers.

In a small boat,why do they say to lean weight forward when coming about? Why doesn't it make more sense to duck the boom while leaning all your weight aft?
