8. She's a beauty. I wonder though, how did they manage to address the problem of mating an aluminum structure to a steel hull? I know the United States Navy had a lot of issues related to galvanic corrosion where the dissimilar metals come together. Is the structure welded to the hull or somehow bolted to it? Are they isolated from each other?

9. I would say the Nordhavn is more a personal yacht that the owner wants to travel the globe in rather than a ‘luxury toy’ used for charter when not in use by the owner …..fantastic vessel I would be proud to own!

21. Nordhavn….a Scandinavian name, company is based in the United States, built by the cheapest labor, materials and boat yard in Taiwan.

22. Question is of course whether this size is too big for certain exploration „missions“. Of course you always have the tender, but still, once in a while one prefers sitting in the marina.
