1. Did it again. Getting used to kboard on iPad. Looking forward to getting back sailing on Georgian Bay. Your videos keeps the sailing lamp burning. Thanks again. Hope all is well in Alaska.

  2. Pirate operating areas are well known. Don't go there. Planning is essential and planning early is good but establish clear steps to reach your goal and have a deadline. Otherwise you are just dreaming.

  3. Hey kids, just a silly question regarding your night time travels…….do you run with the usual running lights fore & aft? Laura was looking lovely as ever during her afternoon naptime. Too bad someone kept waking her up with his running commentary. Ha Ha!

  4. I often think that I am too tall for my Vega, but when I see you both in these lovely video's it looks that you can deal very well with the small amount of space that is left! How tall are you? 😉

  5. I've followed all your adventures and enjoy them but find the volume of the drums giving me a headache. Please cut down on the drums and the length of them, I'd sooner listen to the last couple minutes of chuck talking with the water in the background than the constant beating of those now annoying drums. Sorry, I don't mean to offend but the repetitive drums are too much.
    Cheers and safe travels.

  6. If I don't actively work at keepi9ng my weight up, I tend to sink down to about 150 or 155 lbs. That is why I am having a pint of IPA and a bowl of chili right now.

  7. I am getting a boat after I'm done in the Navy and planning on Liveaboard Cruising as long as I can. Really like your videos! One of the bonuses of YouTube.

  8. As a youtube channel owner, I can't help but think about why some videos get more views than others. I have watched all of your videos, and love them all. But this one has ten times the number of views..Im sure it's because Laura looks so good in the thumbnail. I have no point here, other than keep up the good work, and yes Chuck, you are a lucky man.

  9. P.S. As I sit here in Oregon on my boat listening to NOAA radio about the storm that is approaching the coast, I remember that storm you guys were in traveling south from Neah Bay. (I actually remember it when it happened, thinking I was glad I was not out in it). I would love to see you guys head south, I mean really south….time for some sunshine.

  10. One good thing from that storm. We learned about the PassageWeather website from a delivery skipper we met at Neah Bay when we ducked back in. There were six other boats there waiting out the front and we would gather on his boat to check the weather on his computer. Now we use it before every passage.

  11. Laura's a doll face which explains all the hits! I've watched all of them though…good lord I'm a sailing nerd. Keep up the great work you're an inspiration to following your dream.
