  1. What a boat! Last time I saw it, I was on it crewing across the channel to Alderney, and then on to Guernsey. At the time the boat was owned by The Midland Bank (hence the name – Griffin). There was a rather young pretty co-crew on that trip, but that was almost twenty years ago, happy memories, we've been married for the last fifteen years . . .

  2. I guess you'll have to get the magazine if you want the review mate _ And maybe he'll have photos of the inside _ But we doubt it, don't we _ In fact the bloke probably doesn't even work for YM

  3. I looked at buying one 12 yrs ago and found out there was some very serious issues with a number of them built, not all. You can find this info on the net, the hulls delaminated resulting in very very expensive repair bills for owners. Although the later ones were built by Bowmans fundamentally the Starlight has a production boat feel about it. I ended up buying a Sweden Yacht 36, it turns heads, is faster and in my opinion is a far better boat than the Starlight.
