THE BEST SHOW EVER MADE !! and ill tell you why , flint ( the main character) keeps pushing and fighting for a cause , one not born from rational motives but from a deep desire to fight against the system as it were , on the one hand you could say this is an excercise in futility but on the other hand a world of strict order can become just as unbearable, i see this series as an anaolgy for life , flint maybe be a pirate but without the darkness there would be no light and whos to say whats better ? you may subdue flint but at some point in history nature will create those who go against the masses .

11. I thought I was overreacting when with how great I rated this series until I read the comments here….glad to know others were blown away by this series.

12. The first 15 minutes was good. Then they went into this Les miserable drama crap akin to “someone help me, the bankers gonna take our farm an replace me as captain”. And the solution was a lesbian love making scene. That’s when I switched channels. I will not watch one minute more of this until some one assures me it gets better. No wonder Johnny Depp is a national hero for defeating his abusive WOKE ex wife. I watched this to be entertained, not to get WOKE and LGBT indoctrinated. What an agenda filled piece of garbage I watched tonight. Oh, and BTW most real pirate activity was against the Spaniards when they controlled the Spanish main. Only a small percentage of historical piracy was done to British ships. The need to create a new online streaming network that is agenda free. Just make good entertaining stuff like Pirates of the Caribbean(before Disney stupidly fired Depp for, you guessed it, WOKE agenda). I watched what I subscribed to Hulu for which was the movie Prey. I’m seriously thinking about unsubscribing if this is the kind of garbage they’re going to serve me. Rant over.

19. i absolutely LOVED this tv series. ITS THE BEST ONE and its in par with GAME OF THRONES & BREAKING BAD for me. I honestly cant tell you enough how amazing this show is, it has so much articulation in information, so much history and tells you how people truly fight for their lives.
