11. People need to quit trying to invent the wheel, this man has 10s of thousands of NM under his belt and is very well known. All his experience and being allowed to build the ideal sailing vessel from the ground up should not be dismissed if your looking at serious global cruising. He has well over 200,000 NM of experience over many decades. Why would anyone spend more money on a yacht that can't do half of what this one will do is beyond me. Maybe you are not going to do the NW passage, but you know what? You can do it in this yacht, in a 45 foot yacht, or spend time in the tropics. Its not fast, but very stable and a real global cruiser!

    What an amazing boat. It is what I'd have, if my bank account had a few more zeroes on the end of it.
