1. What Satellite Internet system
With the pandemic going on I have been working remotely but I must have a good high speed internet, what satellite system do you use and is there a flat fee or are you charged by usage?

  2. Awesome guys, your the inspiration to my new channel check it’s out… sailing Maggie-May any advice would be amazing, without watching you we would never have believed we could achieve such a wonderful dream thanks from Ian and Ian of sailing Maggie-may

  3. Beautiful boat, my man. You're living the dream. It's also been a dream of mine to venture around the planet like you. Be it land or sea, I will be doing this when I retire. Just a Black American guy on adventures with his family. Stay safe, bro.

  4. just ran across you from watching US coast guard…wow boring..most dont put up nothing but photos..glad im not to bored to watch anymore…..BORING

  5. I think it's most interesting to binge-watch these videos out of sequence. This tour was fun because I could see so many things changed in six years. Washing machine, no more microwave, didn't know there was a dishwasher, the old generator before the cummins, old instruments before the digital ones, old gas stove before induction stove and convection oven, replaced faucets and fixtures, additional solar integrated into the bimini, before wall of shame (photos), satellite internet dome, not sure if the bbq is still there…. but definitely cool to see so many changes and improvements made to Delos above and beyond the countless maintenance things (rigging, sails, bottom paint). That is a lot of work! 9/13/2020

  6. I have just purchased my first sailboat inspired by delos. Also, after watching their latest vids I've decided to watch all delos vids from start to end. Hope be on the hunt for delos in a few yrs

  7. Wow ! That engine room is intimidating . So many engines and motors running so many things . Everything looks so packed , it must be hard to keep up with everything .
    Handyman or magician ?
I give you a lot of credit Brian , you manage a lot and keep your cool .
You are the heart beat of the ship and your crew are the life systems .
Delos is a beautiful reality where love and responsibilities makes everyone unite .

  8. Nice boat, but there's no such thing as a sloop rigged ketch. It's one or the other. Anyway, looks like quite an adventure. Have fun.

  9. I have a picture of SV Delos in the Puget sound from years ago on one of my old phones! I didn't realize it was her until now! I have to figure out a way to get it off the phone! It's one of those old T-Mobile slide out keyboard Microsoft's first windows phone! No Wi-Fi capability or memory card or usb option. I literally took the picture randomly one day out in the sound near Seattle. Who knew that Delos should be one of my favorite channels on the internet, and years later I find a picture of her I took on a phone, just because I thought she was a beautiful sight on the sound and I now had a phone with a camera on it. Lol! Life is so crazy sometimes!

  10. Hey guys! I just got turned on to your channel by @gonewiththewynns. I’m excited to start this journey with your crew. Could you tell me if this is the very first episode to start with? I have covid and I’m stuck at home and I want to binge on something fun and inspiring. I want to start from the very beginning because then I get lost and it’s a mess Thanks in advance.

  11. wow im watching this in 2021 and wow I haven't realised how much time has gone by!
I love going back a few years and watching an old video.
its kinda weird watching something with ought the little nugget. 😀

  12. I'm not far off selling my F32 Trimaran for a permanent live aboard, i love tri's but a cat is more realistic and then I see things like this and start thinking traditional, I miss heeling right over, not that the tri won't fly the center hull but even with the speed it's just not the same: the tech stuff is cool but the timber work is cooler… beautiful boat but it's an Amel so that's probably an understatement.

  13. I'm curious. Many armchair sailors follow SV Delos. Some actual sailors follow Delos. Some "aspiring" sailors follow Delos. Has anyone who started watching sailing videos actually progressed to offshore sailing? It is a dream for many, but I wonder if anyone goes from watching videos to being out on the ocean? (I've come back to this video 4 or 5 times. I really like the boat tour!)

  14. Great tour. Still neat to see. Truly is amazing how much Amel has changed in 20 years with their 50 and 60.

BTW, seems like you were way up river wherever that was! Super cool!

  15. La Rochelle France has some great boats coming out of it… Defour sailboats is located there as well as the company that built your boat.. seems to me that European sailboats have always been great looking, built to withstand anything and have a really great use of space.. the fit and finish is 2nd to none

  16. LOve all of this. I'm impressed you used a shanty originating in an old salty brothers from Dunedin in NZ. One of the best vids I've seen from anybody anywhere. Cheers.,

  17. This was the first video i watched, been hooked like a crack head ever since.

  18. Great video. Please keep more of these coming. Just a thought. I know Brian is a modern man , smart and funny. When he say's the "guys "at Predict Wind are great I think of men. What if he said people? Hope the input is taken in the spirit intended. I am just a middle aged white guy trying to get with the times. Woo Hoo.
