4. It's a good idea to first listen to Steve's answer to a question from the audience at 43:49 and then see the whole video.

5. Who cares if one person goes a quarter of a knot faster? The racing brigade has taken over the aesthetic pleasure of sailing, so now all dinghies are built to be as uncomfortable as possible, in the same way that bicycles are designed to be as biker unfriendly as possible. Who cares! Sail racing is ruining the pleasure of simply being afloat. What a boring bunch of OCD people! I realise this is a minority view. Please, someone design a pleasant yacht that is inexpensive and has SEATS, and sails for the pleasure of sailing.

6. I'm a new Laser sailer from Australia. Thanx for a very in-depth, but crystal clear talk. I'm yet to have my first sail on it, but it looks a handful downwind in a breeze, and I'll keep your laws in mind.
