Fits in perfectly with the royal image. Britannia cost only £12 million a year to run before Tony Blair scrapped her.

The penny pinching government of ours should never have retired the royal yacht Britannia she had many years of life left in her and was a wonderful tool to be used abroad for dealing with foreign powers doing deals and acting as a outpost of Great Britain as well as a ship that could be used as a hospital ship in times of conflict if needed , it was not just a jolly tool for the royal family it represented our country a proud maritime nation .
