  1. I admit… watching that "Fly Emirates" boat bite the big one gave me much pleasure : )

  2. Me and my Dad were in a small sailboat on a small lake near my town (Lake is Named after the Town because it's actually a man made lake) We got stuck in Marl which isn't the best sediment for Centerboards and to avoid grounding our vessel, I raised the centerboard to also prevent it from being destroyed (This was a pulley and hook-loop system) the Previous owner installed non static rope and I pulled with all my strength and it snapped and we were like ohh no! So some guy had to tow us out and we had to lower the Jib and Mailsail. I was steering with the rudder.

  3. 2:17 accident shows a complete stupid helsman in that situation. With absolut no speed he tries to steer the boat insted of gaining speed and manouver. A risk for all the crew and himslef. Stop sailing and go to a golf course Mr.

  4. 3rd clip is terrifying but the first is pure stupidity, they shouldn’t have even bought that boat if they don’t have simple common sense

  5. I still wonder abou ther guy crashing on to the closing bridge. How can you drive a sailboat just like your car when you see a traffic light getting red, you just accelerate like mad to make it trough ? What kind of mentality is that showing ? An assh** in his car just like an ass*** in his boat.

  6. Number 1 is really unfortunate. Not sure what happened to their boom. They would know to take down their jib, not their mainsail in high winds, or they wouldn't own a sailboat. Something must have gone wrong. The jib looks afoul, and they are lucky to have survived.
