  1. The best flight I ever took in my life was an Aer Lingus flight from Dublin to New York! It was the best customer service I ever had on a flight! Seriously!

  2. Aer Lingus is unironically the best airline i've ever flown. i don't know if i just got lucky, but it's the most legroom i've had on a flight

  3. I’m Irish with 1 son and 4 daughters now back in the day we had a female dog that had to be sterilised and my 4 daughters cried when she came home from the vet because they said she could never have babies I reminded them that they didn’t cry when I had a vasectomy tried every bit of birth control before I made decision my nutts 😊looked liked they went 4 rounds of speed ball training with Mike Tyson

  4. I had the misfortune of flying from the Chicago to Rome, via Dublin, and return on Aer Lingus in 2016, and will never make that mistake again. The staff in Chicago consisted of 4 people who left the check-in desk 75 minutes before boarding time for the boarding gate and could not be reached by any posted telephone number. I think that there were 9 of us who did not make the 75 window by a few minutes and were stranded. We had all checked our baggage before our initial flights to Chicago from our local airports through United Airlines (a separate mistake), so we were without our bags, shut out of the once-daily flight from Chicago to Dublin (surely there would have been more if AL had had a good reputation), so we shared any phone numbers for AL that any of us had. British Airways (which I understood was owned by the same conglomerate) just laughed at us when we asked for help calling he gate crew. "They never pick up the phone!" Luckily, I was able to call AL in New York and rebook my flight for the next day at the same time and used my Hilton Honors card to spend the night at the nearest Hitlon (across the street, called my favorite hotel in Rome and postpone my arrival by one day and enjoyed a lovely dinner at the hotel's restaurant. Many of the other 8 stranded Americans were students who had to make their arrangements through phone calls to their parents. I resolved then and there never to fly Aer Lingus again and kept my resolve even flying to Dublin and return from the US on DELTA on my las overseas flight in 2019.

  5. I was on a flight leaving dublin and there was a delay because of rabbits on the runway, the were quite a few Americans on the flight, and they thought it was a common occurrence 🫣 i felt slightly embarrassed, and wanted to get up and say "No, this almost never ever happens" 😂

  6. What was funny in this skit? Pure shite and unfunny. Even the stereotyping is way off. The Irish are known to be able to laugh at themselves, but there’s zero comedy here. This is simply garbage. SNL, you’re supposed to be better than this.

  7. This seems inane but when I was flying aer lingus, we had to back up again after we pulled up to the gate at Dublin airport because the plane was too far away for the passenger pathway to extend out to, and we had to come closer 😂😂
