Ce face o fată grozavă de echipaj? – Ep 08 Sailing Luckyfish

1. Great video. Loved the Horseman's knot. I can do a bowline easily especially with that extra loop but I didn't know that was it's name. I look forward to all your vids.

  2. I’ve been watching that ‘How to choose a cat-video’ several times since it was shared some years ago, and I never got the real content to make sense. It has some points I reckon, but the essence leaves you to a dead end. To pile up some presumptions that quite easily can be questioned (or altered) and ignoring true seaworthiness etc, never made it to be of any high quality guidance. Yes, you’re right, knowledge is not the issue, neither experience, but to have a high ambition to help people to make a good decision… it just doesn’t work that way. I reckon that vid could have a totally different outcome if they edited it in a more ‘buyers perspective’ way.

  3. Luck ya' make yourself, and just payin' attention counters every superstition out there! 🙂

..and sailor girls are the BEST at payin' attention. So, payin' attention to them payin' attention to "stuff" allows you to eat as much Albatross as you'd like!

And, why else would you shoot an albatross, anyway? (If not for emergency rations.)

As a green aloha shirt wearing, banana (split) toting, pennywhistle playing sailor (who's nevertheless not had the inclination to shoot albatross) my "luck" has been reasonably good.

..though an open umbrella below decks DOES sound like a recipe for disaster, as I'm sure I'd
very cleverly run myself through or put out an eye,.. or both.

You guys are great! Keep up the good work keepin' up my motivation!

Aloha nui to you guys! Mahaloz gangies. 🙂 🤙

  4. I'm familiar with less is more and it certainly is easier to take care of less than more. But I would also say that more is pretty ok too.

  5. I missed watching your videos and am glad to see new ones. I think they are so interesting. Plus you all are wonderful people.

  6. Stewart, you magnificent BAS,,,KIWI. I saw that @0:28. Just you wait until you get into those other movies.

What a brilliant segment you included here with the 1000 year old passed-down knowledge of land-locked Mongolians being able to tie a better 1000 year old knot than a 40 year old sailor. Oh, and the "cone rode attachment" @15:59 should not be underestimated by any person with half a brain.

I see where you are going here, but I don't see how this is going to "make" people "want more" from the next episode. You already live a life most people only dream of, and that is why they send you money. If you want them to pay for you to continue to live this life, rather than spending money for them to do what you are doing, and they dream of doing – you must convince them that you are doing it better than they could possibly hope to do, for themselves, on their own.

Perhaps you need a script to follow. Because this whole – "these random things happened in our life after I bought a boat and started sailing, and here are some moments of that experience, and you non-gifted with a boat people need to learn from our experience" – thing – isn't bringing in enough income to support that kind of lifestyle. I mean c'mon, anyone who owns a boat and a camera with a pretty girl to put in front of it can do this, right?

But then again, I could just be jealous that you are living the life I have always dreamed of, and haven't realized,,,YET.

PS; I'm not sure about the "rant" which you commented about, it seems to have vanished behind all the rest of the brilliant content that came after it.

  7. I've been watching your videos for quite a while now and I enjoyed them very much. I am curious how and where you are met each other. Can't wait to see the Cuba video!

  8. Love all of your videos Stew! The ladies have helped out so much more than you initially let on to. So nice to have a helpful crew on board. Cheers to Luckyfish and her crew!

  9. Hi there. i love sailing and yes i have an low income. So the first thing i look at is how much is the boat ? .
then i look at what material the boat is made of. next the length and width of the boat snd then the age and brand of the boat, so for an low income earna, i have a lot to consider and on my new boat will be an blog on it.
    Gerard on readybaron.

  10. Rory is a real sailor I mean the real deal. He doesn’t hype up anything. He just does it! He is the real get-er-done guy! I do like that but you have to slow them down a bit to teach you! I like it best when they tell me what to do! I catch on to why fast enough.

  11. I know very little about Mongolians, but I have learned more about them from these vids than from anywhere else. Definitely tough, practical and resourceful people. I'll be accused of simping, but the girls are great ambassadors for their country IMO.
