Prognoza a raportat vânturi dinspre vest cu 2 mph, cu rafale care nu depășește 11 mph. Ceea ce nu am reușit să calculez a fost cât de repede va fi forțat vântul pe canalul de la Anthony Pass, New Mexico. Very flawed initial plan. Bad decision making when the strong tail wind was obvious. Like he said he is aggressive. Paramotors and aggressive are not a good combo.

You should check out the Ryan carlton app. It tells you the wind direction and speed at certain altitudes, that way you will know if it’s dangerous to fly at certain altitudes.

I've been in a Cessna 170 with a small gust of wind, believe me, it's a big deal. Any turbulence… and there's plenty… sucks. It's like being on a fucked up roller coaster or in a clothes dryer. I'd get a tall camper top for the truck, so I could sleep back there with my paramotor on trips for free at rest stops, truck stops, and WM parkinglots.

Did you try climbing to see if the air currents changed? Normally winds are stronger up higher but not always. May have been worth a shot
Yeah, they don't burn much fuel going downwind. Maybe you should start thinking about calculating wind in calculation your range. Just sayin'
