Good Hope este un Flying Dutchman/ Baba 35 proiectat de Robert Perry în 1980, construit în 1980 de TaShing Yachts din Taiwan. Good Hope este hull #42 și va împlini 42 de ani și în 2022 în timpul cursei. Și după cum știți cu toții, 42 este „Răspunsul la întrebarea supremă a vieții, a universului și a tuturor”, calculat de un supercomputer numit Deep Thought pe o perioadă de 7,5 milioane de ani. Această barcă va fi navigată de Gaurav în cursa Globului de Aur 2022. Excited for you on your new adventure! Sail life is exciting and wonderful! We are looking at buying a baba too and yours is soo beautiful! Downside to Diesel engines: they smell terribly! They are Noisey ! Pollution etc, expensive. I would stick to electric engine as much as possible and power with solar to be off the grid. All the best!
