This was really great! I read a very interesting ebook yesterday that tells about a long crossing across of
the south Atlantic: Living the dream, by José Nunes, available in Amazon. I
think you ll enjoy it!
U r a brave man i can't even think about crossing the worlds largest water body.
Glad you met Reece , awesome guy , good travels . Aloha
Where are you?? Nothing for a year
What is a KM?
So they turned a toxic dump into a wildlife refuge?? Why?? Because the birds don’t get cancer? Or get sick from the awful things we have created? Makes me ill and someone I am sure was bailed a hero making this happen? Sad. Human beings are sad.
Awww. The bird needed help. You saved its life. It was worth it.
I’d ring that bird’s neck
I take it your vote does not have an engine. I thought albergs also had a wet shower in the head? Or do you just prefer not to use any of your water
Marshall Islands is probably THE most under the radar tax havens in the world. The tiny island nation has very few conventional 'tourists', and very few conventional holiday resorts or facilities. However the number of business 'tourists' is off the charts. United Airlines alone has 17 flights per month there from the USA. That's just one airline!!!

I wonder how it looks on the ocean at night. Plus, what if a large boat hits you at night when they can't see you?
I suspect solo sailors on long passages have always ended up holding long introspective conversations with themselves and imaginary friends after a couple weeks at sea. But, now, for the first time in history, those conversations can be uploaded and listened to by half a million people. I feel lucky to be alive in these times. lol
I didn't see how you were navigating…. you didn't show any electronics, and no charts. How were you doing it?
Rad.
THEY NEED TO SINK EVERY CHINESE FISHING VESSEL IF NOT IN THEIR OWN WATERS!! THE CHINESE ARE POACHING TO MUCH FISH FROM SOUTH AMERICA AND OTHER COUNTRIES!
Totally impressed. This is the first video like this I have seen. I have had dreams of doing like you are and I am a big dreamer. I'm 71 and life's not over yet. I am not a sailor but would still love to learn. Where might I find someone to teach me say like in Hawaii? All the Best! Awesome Video. Really Awesome what you are doing.
Man I would come be your hands in a heart beat to live that life! My dream!
What are you a vegetarian?
No engine.
Mr. Pukonen was touching the gimbled cooker and it looks like he didn't ever use it. Did he ran out of gas bottles? Why hasn't been any gas bottle fixed to the cooker? Good voyage though there didn't seem to exist much of knowledge about sailing. It was wise to follow the safety advices. It's recommended to start such an adventure as long as you're young and healthy. 30 years ago most of the people I knew would have critisized that boat. Too small, too old, no motor! Meanwhile more and more people found out that it's not a question of the size of the boat. It is a question of the right season, of the sailor's abilities and of course of a little bit of luck.
Cool thing to do. Good for you that you was able too. What is that brass or bronze verticle lever mid ship? The one thats about 3-4’ and you was working to get out of the harbor.
I was enjoying your adventure but what happened? Why hasn’t there been any continuation since you went to Hong Kong?
Enjoy your sailing buddy
