Nice Video, enjoyed it a lot 😉 Keep it going
So nice of the people of Motril, making sure you are OK and bringing you treats!
Hopefully this pandemic will abate (sooner than later), and you will be able to resume your "continuing voyages of the sailing yacht Chloe".
Cheers from Niagara Canada!
PS Happy Canada Day
Favorite episode so far!
Takes me back a few years. I had a friend with property in Sabanillas and Estepona. Sadly no longer on this planet. My favourite sail used to be from Sabanillas up to Peurto Banus , but it can be a bit breezy on that shore, especially if there is a Levante blowing from the east, and you go nowhere eastwards for days. Very glad to see you survived lockdown, it does get a bit stir crazy at times. Three months of lockdown will (I hope) all disappear with an hour under sail. Looking forward to the next one.
Great episode. Makes me pine for another sailboat. I had one for most of my adult life but at age 80 my work still keeps me busy. It seems I get more challenging and pathbreaking cases as a economic damages expert. Love your show. More please.
Good luck and fair winds
If you guys want some places to visit, check out Let's Dance Sailing, they have done some nice little places through the Med the last 3 years
Great to see you guys back, stay safe and well,
Love ur video. I am debating over a few sailboats to purchases as Garcia Expolor 52 is on my list along with Amel 50, and Island Packet 485, love to see and learn how you both like her and sail her.
Great to see you are well and keeping your sense of humor in this period. Looking forward to your next episode 🙂
👍🦘
First time I watch a video of you. Nice one. Fair winds
I just found you two. Looks like fun. It’s great you found such a safe place to sit out the virus hit. Thank you for the nice video.
Hello ! We stayed un Marina Motril from december to 3 march . We cross you 😉. We enjoy to be at Motril with ROberto and all the staff very professionnal and sympatic. We are actualy un BAleares . We will follow tour trip and maybe see you ….
Great boat………If I win the lottery definitely my first choice.
I crew on a pretty special retired Cape to Rio Alex Simonis designed Robertson and Caine custom built 64' called Warrior, but for an all round great high latitude expedition boat, the thoughtful design and build quality, with the centreboard and all the redundancies built in by Garcia these 45's have to be right up there for sure. Do you have a self steering vane? or reliant on autopilots?.
Love these Garcia's.
Fair winds and safe sailing
I like your boat. It's beautiful.
I'd love to see a video about your electric drive!
👍👍👌👌⚓⚓🚢🚢🍻
Im sorry to ask how did you deal with your grey water tank and its containings during this long stay on the pear?
Great episode, thanks for sharing and I'm loving your boat and all the crafty handy work ideas you're sharing. When you get to Murcia, it's well worth stopping at Real Club de Regatas Cartagena smack in the center of this small and historic naval city.
Enjoy and keep the videos coming!
"The best humanity has to offer" What a wonderful line….Glad you stopped at the right marina to shelter in place. A perfect response and aide from the police and marina owner…
Having worked for Harris for years, I am sure I can comprehend the clever way you came up with to attach the curtains to the saloon windows. I want to possibly copy you, sans Cloe, when my Garica E 52 is delivered. Cheers
Loved the episode! Do you ever raise the centerboard when sailing or motoring downwind? If so, how much different does the boat perform and feel? Does it rock side to side more?
when you use auto pilot , are you turn on the generator or is enough by only use the solar power ?
The virus has bought out the worst in most governments, but the best in most people.
