Navigați din Islanda către Insulele Feroe. Forța haosului! Capitolul 4.

1. Eric has found his true calling. Fantastic narration, fantastic camera work, and fantastic production. I am subscribed to several sailing channels, this is the one that keeps you up for a few extra hours. Great Great work, about to head over to his Patreon.

  2. A fantastic adventure. thank you for sharing! I'm so impressed with the videography, and especially the drone footage out at sea. how in the world do you re-land on the boat, singlehanded, in those conditions??

  3. Found my way to your channel via Alluring Arctic. Your videos are amazing and inspiring, and I look forward to the next one in your current Greenland series! Seydisfjordur was my favourite spot in Iceland when we did the ring-road a few years ago. We did a kayak tour up the fjord and I don't think I've been anywhere more stunning. Keep up the great work!

  4. The Viking's videos are awesome – mind-blowing. The worlds he explores are out of this world…like from a science fiction movie…national geographic would make use of all his videos…sailing videos couldn't get better than this..

  5. I really like that you turned around and returned to the harbor. "Kun en tåbe frygter ikke havet" safety first always! + this also opened up for new adventures exploring Iceland so it was a good decision also for that reason. Cheers!

  6. I don’t know how you muster up the balls to sail the open sea like this but it’s pretty amazing to watch. I’ve always been fascinated with the oceans but also pretty horrified to be out in the middle of it. Maybe one day I’ll try to overcome it. Seems like nothing in the world would compare to what you’re doing. Plus you only live once.

Also blown away by the astonishingly beautiful shots/footage you got in the “exploring Iceland” portion of this video. It really shows how much people who only stay in American cities (or any cities) are truly missing out on. The earth is such a vast and still largely unseen planet with so much to explore, it’s almost a crime to not get out and see as much of it as humanly possible. I have to agree with you that sailing has to be the best way to explore our world.

Thank you for sharing this thrilling adventure with all of us. It was truly breathtaking!

  7. What a strange thought about myself to be so far from any excitement or adventure. To look at your struggle while being in bed having covid only dreaming about harsh sea waves.

  8. Immer wieder schön!!!! Lass Kacheln Erik!!! Für mich ein Segel Held, mit ganz viel Herz und Händchen!!! Allzeit gute Fahrt!!! 👏👏👏👍

  9. The main thing is that the boat is in very good technical condition. And spare parts for engines. Larger waves 20 meters north without a motor make it difficult to keep a balance between changing wave currents and reversing wind directions.

  10. i follow your almost profesional documentary video's very beautiful
the way you act the way you do everything it is outstanding

  11. Is this channel produced and paid for by the Norwegian government? Why do you always say “we” instead of “I”?

  12. God decision to turn back to Iceland… not only due to the weather conditions but also because Iceland really is a place to explore. Fantastic vide! Thanks a lot for sharing. Fair winds!

  13. Erik, your videos are fascinating and allow us to discover landscapes that otherwise we would never have had the opportunity to see. You are an exceptional sailor, however I find that you do not take enough safety by often neglecting the lifeline in extreme weather conditions. Good luck and continue to thrill us with your adventures.

  14. What you call a "weather window" amazes me. Then again, I'm fair weather Canary Islands sailor, not a northern Viking like yourself. The landscape is grandious and you capture it beautifully. Thank you. Greetings and best wishes from down south.

  15. The intelligent ones know when to quit and try again another time. Too many foolish people end up being lost at sea because they cannot read the signs. This northern area of the world is truly stunning full of islands.
