Sorry I missed this! I'm interested to hear yours and others' thoughts about Kindle Vella. I'm already planning on publishing a YA Horror Adventure on the platform, banking on Amazon marketing the app to YA audiences. We'll see how this experiment goes. If they do pull the plug after a few months then I can always self publish.

This was an excellent video on Kindle Vella and one of the best I have watched and listened to from the huge number of videos coming out on this subject. I have already uploaded two storylines on Kindle Vella and you made me feel a bit more confident that I haven't wasted my time. I actually like the concept and I had two series of stories that seem to fit in on the Kindle Vella program. Keep up the good work Dale. We all value from it and you.

I read somewhere that Amazon takes the square cover provided and makes (cuts?) a circle out of it for the story. Is that true?
Two questions: 1) Who owns the copyright? Can Amazon exploit the related IP (TV, movies, etc.)? You aren't going to copyright each episode at $65 each. You'd have to write the entire book, copyright, then do each episode. 2) I was told that episodes could be read, then returned. w/o payment. This is different from regular KDP rules,I believe. Your help would be appreciated. I've tried to find the answers on my own w/o luck.
