  1. Hi guys, thanks for taking us along for the ride… I’d love to do this trip around the UK! I’d be hesitant though in a Jaguar 22 with a 2.9hp outboard and no cruising chute! One day though…

  2. Dont blame you for avoiding Jack Sound, having dived the area a few times I know the race there can get a bit hairy .

  3. Alright lads, just stumbled across your channel. Nice to see local (nearly) people doing stuff like this. Quick question, how do you find the Imax gear in the wet and windy? Cheers, all the best for the remaining trip.

  4. Tuna, pasta cheese. Brings back memories of sailing the Pembrokeshire coast and sheltering in Dale too. Dale has a "soft bottom" and dragging the anchor overnight is always fun.

  5. What was the depth and how much scope had you paid out? Did you deploy just one anchor or two?
What was the bottom like? Sandy?
You looked secure enough despite the swell. A good learning experience!
Re your second reef – the way you had it set up puts a lot of strain on the reef cringle and your main,s leech.
I suggest you reave the reefing line through the boom and secure the cringle down to the b9om with a couple of strong sail ties or a short strop of rope preferably dyneema

  6. Found your channel by accident while looking for 'Keep Turning Left'. I know Dale as my mum used to drag me down there from Essex 70yrs ago for 2 weeks holiday every year. We had relatives that owned 2 farms in Dale, one at the Windmill and the other at Brunt Farm up Drift hill. I spent most of the holiday in the bay on a borrowed dingy. That was a great part of my life. Keep the videos coming lads, Oh, by the way I subscribed.

  7. Going back finally to catch up on your early episodes. Knackered is such a British term I love and loving your journey, I may have blown my motor yesterday and had to sail 35 plus miles home until I could get a tow and will wait on a mechanic. Those winds can be rough.

  8. Merry Christmas, both. I'm catching up on your older vids while waiting for dinner!

Hope you're both having an amazing time wherever in the world you are.

    Safe passage!
