14. I love Sir Rod Stewart, I have seen him in concert and even got up to the stage and gave him flowers in 2017. He even thanked me by name for the flowers, because I had a card attached to the flowers and I even put in a small Scottish flag. Best night ever, will never forget it. ❤💖💋😘

24. "SAILING" Was a no 1 twice in the UK. First, Summer 1976, and again the following year. It was summer 1977 I was having a lunch time drink with a friend at the Alma Arms Pub in Weston Green Esher. We were sitting outside when all of a sudden a minibus/camper van turned up. Several people got out, including one Rod Stewart with Britt Ekland. We couldn't believe it!! I went inside the pub. Rod said to his friends "Who wants a Ploughmans Lunch?" After that I approached him for an autograph. I asked him how was American Tour , he said "We haven't started yet" he signed two autographs for me. It was great to meet him off the cuff, I'd been a fan since 1971, still am today. ThumbZup Rodders 🎶👍👦👍🎶
