Cu 30 de ani în urmă, când se confruntau cu pensionarea, Henk și Lucy au decis să construiască o barcă de oțel personalizată de 41 de picioare în peluza lor din față. Le-a luat 4 ani să construiască și după aceea au pornit timp de 30 de ani în jurul Asiei. Visul lor a fost întotdeauna să navigheze spre Mediterana. Suntem atât de inspirați de ei, încât acum, la 80 de ani, încă își urmăresc visurile. Le dorim toate cele bune și bune vânturi.   1. What an amazing couple that built, maintain, modify and sail a truly beautiful and capable vessel.
    At 56 I wish I'd had the opportunity to do something similar but in '98 my special needs son was born.
    Needless to say that changed the wife and I's lives forever as he requires 24/7 supervised care that we provide as there's no other option.
    I mean there are homes of course but I'd never do that to my son as he's more than happy with us and depends on us for everything.
    Without my wife's loving care he'd not last long just sitting or lying in a room alone and we simply refuse to do that to him.
    There is a silver lining as mentally he's from 6 to 10 depending on subject and Christmas as well as all the holidays are a very special time for him.
    Sorry for going off on a tangent there and thank you for showing this couple and their amazing accomplishments on your channel…

  4. My wife and I are in our mid 70s and in good health. Are we too old to live on a sailboat? I know that’s a subjective question, but, it seems the older you get the harder it is to make a decision like living on a boat. Thanks for the video.

  8. you are making a general statement about retirement which is not altogether accurate, you choose to sit on a sailboat moving from place to place which is fine however, there are many countless things to do other than that.
    don't feel sorry for me because i chose a different path.
