G'day Crew,,,
Great vid , had to laugh a Captain Jack talking about WAFFLING..
One question ,,,
who was the stranger you brought in to do the soldering vid , he looked familiar..
Best Wishes for a safe ,& happy Christmas and also a Prosperous New Year .

Great video guys Hampshire 🇬🇧
That pilot house is really coming together. Your boat actually has a very generous amount of space in it.
Also Jack, I think you should start your own YouTube channel, just to show the adventure from your perspective, I think many other young men your age would have a lot to gain from watching it. You are getting very comfortable in front of the camera, and as you are aspiring to be a learned man, I think you can go very far and provide a good example in life.
love captain Jack! amazing kid!
Jack is such a great narrator and his time spent at the museum was magical. The weekly progress is truly amazing and a testament to the incredible work ethic of both Andy and Melissa. I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas and many blessings for the New Year. ⛵️⛵️⛵️🥰🥰
Thank you Jack for narrating on this episode and taking us along on you field trip to the museum!
Great progress on the boat as always Dad and Mom!
I've always been really crap at soldering. That was really helpful.
Jack would make a great voice over artist. He's a natural!
Absolutely LOVED Jack’s narration and “tongue-in-cheek” humor on this one. Well done! Can’t wait to see where homeschooling and life travels will take you!
Jack, you made several good "points" at the museum……LOL. Also, tell your dad that I love waffles, especially with melted butter and warm maple syrup!!!!!!
I wished i had a mum and dad like yours jack you will have a fantastic life travelling around the world when you start and have many memories and storys to tell your own family one day but dont grow up to fast a make the most of being young
Well done Cpt Jack, keep that landlubber Dad in check 😂😂. Fantastic episode
Great video guys, every day is a school day. Explains why my soldering iron is not performing! I cleaned the end with sandpaper….now goes black and makes soldering very hard. Also that soldering iron looks very useful on the boat. Off to Amazon, thanks for the tips. Happy Xmas to you guys. Andy UK
You will be waffling like that soon Jack. The Apple doesn't fall far from the tree.😍
Great job, It is coming along nicely. That was great that Master Jack got to go to the museums. I loved doing that with my Mom and Dad when I was a child. that will stay with him for a lifetime plus you get to learn so much…..Enjoy Have fun and stay safe…….Love you guys
Jack keep on learning as you will go far. Its a dads prerogative to waffle but I bet you preferer when mum makes Waffles
Great work guys👍🏻X
Great video.
Question. Behind the pilot house backrest there looked like some built in boxes that you fitted the insulation around. Just curious as to what they are.
The soldering for the LED light tutorial was very interesting. At the moment we have some caravan awning led tubes that can run from 12 volt or via a brick from the mains. We don't have any batteries installed yet so this was a way of getting light that can work now and in the future.
Nice goin Jack, 'Waffle' is ok [says a 'ye olde bloke], even better if it has Polly in front of the Waffle. Gee Andy, if your that fast an that good building I got a van job you could help with! 😀 Nice work at the Science & History Museum Jack, its on my list! My particular favorite was the T Rex surfing, although the Rex is the Christmas Jumper made me a little Jealous, I don't have one. Its the time of the year. Nice 1 Melissa, I far as I can see its kool, my place might be a bit tidier but its not a boat thats bein worked constantly to get it up to a live aboard place. Rippa stuff, thanks, you and yours stay safe and well Eh!
Dad's "waffle" was very informative.
Omgoodness!
An absolutely amazing vlog, also including the 'Jack Special' in the Natural History Museum!
Just stopped at 5.34, and I'm already amazed at his intelligence!
All love and best wishes to you all, Claire, expat, now living in Berlin 😘😘😘
Lets hear it for the woffling on, I really enjoyed it!
I see the headliners have some wrinkles here and there. You can remove them with an heatgun. Heat it up till the material get very hot and then wait to cool down…it takes time and some several times procedure in tricky spots, but you can get rid of them.
I'm from Belgium and I like waffles, especially Brussels waffles.LOL.Nice😁😁🤣🤣😜 job Jack!!
I did LED lighting in the cabin of our catamaran whilst cruising this year. My soldering was a complete mess. I just ordered a TS100, question is can I be bothered redoing that job…?!
Thanks, shipmates! Another interesting, well-made vlog.
For a boat owner like me, the soldering tutorial was really useful … and – as a former Director of the National Maritime Museum, London – it was great to hear about Captain Jack’s positive experiences in S Kensington’s world-class museums … head to Greenwich, next time you’re in Town, right!?
🙂👌🏽🎉💯
OK, but let´s forget about dinos and giant reptile eggs, OK? It´s a political fossil fuel that burns my ass.
Oh, and the moon? Please man, let´s not talk stinky cheese with an appetite! Better to talk bean farts´n sh*t.
Great video! No worries, boat project life will eventually slow down, and you will get back in the water…. and it will all be worth it. Thanks for the quick part with the lights… I've never doing this… you make it look easy..
Jack your a youtube superstar all the best for xmas all
Snapdragon,Ive been replacing old lights for strips of LED part to have colours and reduce battery power, may this early summer sail it up to greet you all, and you can all take me out in it 🙂
"Waffleing" is what dads do! We often think out loud as we are figuring out the best way to make or repair things. Don't give your Dad too much grief, Jack. We need more like him!
Love my TS100 – heats up in seconds with the higher voltages. Super handy. Bought the XT60 to 5.5mm DC jack for it with the silicone wire. Really appreciate the flexibility of it. Currently powering it via my Ryobi one+ battery (3D printed cap takes spring contacts to XT60 connector)
I will say, when I was looking into these, I remember an article warning against any voltage above 24, as 25V will fry an internal component.
For the sake of mobile power, another option would be the TS80 which runs off a USB-C connector.
Really appreciate the videos you put out, you're all doing a great job of it!
Fabulous 🙂
Nice dream theater shirt !
Jesteście bardzo pracowici
Looking good
I'd like to add as others have said. Your presentation skills are getting very good. Andy your soldering skill are really good. It is clear to me you refined your skills over years of practice in your hobby. I was trained and certified professionally in soldering. Great job. Keep showing us your verity of experiences.
Love you guys!!!
