  1. It's a beautiful boat but I don't think this is for me. I'm really looking at a real solo blue water boat and I don't feel this is designed for that. It isn't being marketed for guys like me anyway. I want simplicity and a boat designed for solo sailing across oceans. This has to many comfort creatures to break down during a voyage. Now if I where cruising around the med cove hopping that would be a different story.

  2. wow, what a boat, that was one smart son a of bitch who designed it. especially that engine room for the best access i have ever seen. great boat. the owners cabin was perfect and then then to have a washer dryer vented.

  3. It feels like H-R got robbed on their last 'new' boat (intro'd in late 2019, really Spring 2020- COVID global onset) and now we've got a few more players in this upper end of the market (Oyster, primarily). I think there is always room for for a well designed, bluewater cruiser with a long waterline. I've noted so many improvements in hull design that H-R should be considered almost revolutionary, but- it all gets lost when compared to a London flat on the water. Any 50 foot boat interior that doesn't look like a boat goes straight from the sublime to the ridiculous. Sorry, one man's opinion, I suggest you get another. I would rather be reminded that I'm sailing across an ocean that trying to ignore the fact that I may be 1,000 miles from a convenience store. Just saying.

  4. Close to my dream boat , beautiful and plenty of space . Just get my clothes , wet suits , my surfboards and move in . . Hope would could be that easy , Have no idea how much it costs but is clear way above my budget . Time is coming , will sell my apt ,car even my socks buy my boat and sail away .

  5. This must be for the AP watch wearing crowd. Absurd prices for used never mind new. Can you imagine the catamaran you could get for one of these. Not bashing this brand because they are well known like Oyster. (True Bluewater sailboat) Suits a certain pocketbook. I don't get it. But that is why we all have opinions. Nice boat though cant deny that.

  6. While its an absolutly magnificient boat, and for what I'm told top class build quality, I personally prefer the look of Oysters boats!

  7. What is this with designers? They always forget to integrate a tiny shelf to put your shampoo and other necessities in the shower area. So you end up with having to put everything on the floor of the tiny area and you have to crouch down to get it. Weird. Don’t these designers ever use their own boats?

  8. Man… I am so far behind the times! I still think of our C&C 29 MK II as a modern boat… I'm still stuck in the pre AIS days despite being a professional ship's officer well up to date in modern navigation etc. One day my wife and I hope to go blue water cruising and Halberg Rassy is at the top of our list.
