10. No, not at all, you are not crazy doing just that at 76. We don't have many 76 years to lived, this is the only lives we've got, if we you feels like doing something, just do it. Life is too short to waste time on considering if we can do this and that, do it while you still can.

11. It is smart buying a sailing yacht now that the world is ending. Wind is free, sun is free, and the fish in the sea is all the food one needs and it's free. On land people will be hungry, hungry people are dangerous. On the sea there are no hungry people, the food is endless!
    I bought me an Albin Vega 27' but I'm only 50 years old.

12. I'm 76. After 7 years, sold my power boat and went back to my roots– sailing. Kick off mid March. Oregon, California, Hawaii, Washington, Oregon.

    I'm now 73. Yes I've been living aboard 2 years

14. I learned to sail with my dad and uncle down at Solent Breezes Sailing Club at the solent. Awesome times and weekends camping in the caravans. There is something about being out on the water that is so amazing. Happy days!

20. Wonderful! Regarding your QRM through the power supply, I read that on cars some people put a supercapacitor close to the source of the trouble, usually the generator. Perhaps you also need an inductor close by. And why would you need a psychiatrist when you have a boat? <g> 73+gl!

25. im 71 just bought a seacracker 33, will be off on my 10th solo crossing of the atlantic this summer.

26. I'm 75. I bought one in Sept. Working on it most every day. Life is grand.

27. Don't worry about it I am coming on 79 and still sailing. My Psychiatrist is encouraging me to continue so I shall do just that.

30. A 75 yr old bought my first albin viggen. I’m still looking for an suitable upgrade on budget. It’s never too late to sail no matter how old a human are.

31. I retired at 60 and sail 6 months of the year. I’m 73 years old now and recently purchased my third new yacht of 51 feet, believe me you are never to old to sail or purchase a boat.

34. I’m an owner of a 27 ft sailboat at my age of 69. Taking my two day ASA basic sailing keelboat class end of May. Knock on wood! I feel like a lost kid in a toy store! Excited but so much to do. And I’m a solo lol. This was inspiring to watch. You have done ! What I hope to do.
