Deoarece Africa de Sud nu mai era o opțiune pentru noi și era un sezon ploios în Tanzania, am explorat câteva opțiuni. Un loc s-a evidențiat destul de mult – biletele de avion ieftine și a fost o conexiune bună pentru noi dacă decidem să mergem acasă în SUA pentru o perioadă, ceea ce era oricum planul nostru, dar puțin mai târziu în sezon. Turcia ne-a atras atenția și pentru că, pe măsură ce traversăm Marea Roșie și Canalul Suez, ne vom afla în Marea Mediterană și plănuim să petrecem un timp bun în Turcia. În acest caz, ar fi o idee bună să previzualizați ceea ce ne așteaptă. The Vikings where there, they called it "Myklagard" and the translation is "big city", maybe there was some Lithuanians and Latvians on board the Viking ships? They went trough the rivers from Bothnia bay trough Russia and finally down to Myklagard. Then they sailed home via the midieterrian.

Personally I wouldn’t spend a dime in Turkey with the Ukrainian situation and Turkey supporting Putin and opposing Ukraine’s entrance to the EU (the only country to oppose) but they have supported Ukraine in some ways, just a slave to Putin attempting to save face. Still enjoying your experience there. It’s just a mean world at the moment.
