  1. Very excited for you and the next adventure building your own boat while renovating the farm!! Maybe an opportunity for a garden, as well? I Han a friend near Malmo who grew the most fragrant and delicious apples (they couldn't be shipped, too delicate).

  2. Looking forward to watching the future unfold…. what's the timeline to start laying the boat down ? What's the build schedule ? Won't hold you to it..lol. 👍

  3. Can't wait to see what boat (design) you are going to build. BTW We bought Najad 391 this spring in the Nederlands and we love her.

  4. Gonna be a LOT of work to get the barn ready for boat building. I hope you have a lot of big strong friends that can come out and help! Will be joyful work though. Congratulations on your farm purchase.

  5. 🇸🇪 Tillykke med jeres fine hus og grund😍👍

Hvor længe planlægger i at være om at bygge jeres båd?

Hvad med flere børn😉 ville i gave tid til det mens i bygger?
    Pøj pøj👍

  6. I hope it's a Tiki 32 Nice farm guys, Its a shame you have no stream, You could of got 1.2 kw free energy for the farm, But the cheapest way to heat a big cold house in winter is to use round bails of straw, My friend heats his 6 bedroom farmhouse with huge full size indoor swimming pool for £1 a day. I shit you not.. That hard wood ain't cheap and it's getting more expensive and limited because everyone wants it. Happy farming / Boat building.

  7. I think the risk here is that you love the farm life so much that you will sell the new boat when she is finished and become farmers!
On a more serious note: how long do you think it will take you to design and build RAN3 from now on?
And finally: I see that RAN2 still uses your (Swedish) MMSI number as she still shows up on MarineTraffic in Coconut Grove. Maybe you should send the new owner a hint to change it.

  8. Thank you both so much for your reply!
Perfect, you will be successful in all your build. Can’t wait to see your sail boat & your home, farm when completed. We would love to visit your farm when you open it to folks. We have been married for over 51 yrs, this would be an amazing trip for us.
    God Bless all of you!
    Richard and Katherine

  9. Thank you guys for all your sweet comments! And also for all the great tips like regarding the straw on the loft. We'll definitely use that for insulation of the barn as well as for the garden. And we'll keep some poop too 😂

  10. Pretty sweet. In Newfoundland Canada with our temperatures that is compatible to where you're situated it would take us about about 30cm ( 8 cord ) for all winter ( continuous burn ).

  11. I'm happy Vera had a good first day at pre school and I think your farm and home is fantastic, cannot wait to see your plans for the new boat.

  12. It would be best to install some sold foam insulation and cover it all with 4 mill visquen or if you don't have the money for that a wrap of 4 mill plastic would create a dead air space and help a lot

  13. They have boat trailers that you can back under the boat and it has built in hydraulic arms that will pick up the boats , right off the blocks you build it on no need for a crane that way you won't need to tear the roof apart just cut a hole in the wall back the trailer in and replace the wall with a door

  14. That is insane to be able to buy that for the price you mentioned. In Canada, that would be at least 3-5x that. It's an amazing place. Congratulations.

  15. Congrats on the new home. It will be amazing to see what you guys do with it. And the building of the new boat. Is there anything Swedes can't do?

  16. so… we will buld an Ark now? Damn. Good for me. 🙂 just a standart notice. And about the difrences in our counties. Its so srtange that you meet the ovner after the buy. In my place, we have to meet at some layers place (99%)… yourl world is strange. But I like you guys. Always thumb up from me or a silly comment. 🙂 Unce Donald had a farm………..
Roofs have to be changed asap imo. And the barn is HUGE. Damn. You ARE building an Ark. :

  17. Congratulations on your new home 🙂
What a change since the first few episodes i had seen many years ago 🙂

That farm looks great for that price tag… a lovely farm for sure.
Needs some work… yes… but whats the fun on buying something that there is no need of doing anything? Well maybe its just me, that like spend some time on DIY stuff 🙂
That stable looks empty without Veras pony… already working on that? 🙂

Regarding light on the "construction yard".
Lots of LED tube lights are great to have some good quality light evenly spread around all area for sure.
Dont know how tall would be the hull and if there is enough space above it to consider the use of another light solution, like those LED "industrial spot lights" suspended in the ceiling (some look like small bells, others have kinda UFO look)!
They have a bigger "price tag" but in the other hand, you only need a few, because you can get them in 100W, 200W and above.
And on an enclosed space during winter, all light you can get is never too much light 🙂

    Just a thought 😉

    Hugs from Portugal,
    Cesar
