Sailing Away From A Storm (Leaving The Isles of Scilly)

Sezonul 2: https://www.youtube.com /watch?v=mXQTl… Clipuri ale sezonului LOCKED DOWN: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIkPz… Proiecte de iarnă și upgrade-uri (2020/2021): https://www.youtube. com/watch?v=YGIh4… Sezonul 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAQ9h… Sezonul 4: https://youtube.com/playlist?list=P LeSCMgliFwv7egFMFVxEiHUzZIvwZU4RV

  1. Great episode, really entertaining and a good decision to depart the Scilly Isles knowing what was on the way! Man forages and woman cooks…and cooks very well indeed, have to make a trip to my fishmonger today methinks. You make the South Coast look very inviting for us to have another visit from the East Coast. David.

  2. Another great video guys, well done. Hopefully you don't mind but I have a couple of questions. Do you find the cooking in a confined space leaves any smells in the cabin. Also the tv is it just used for streaming or do you have an aerial. Anyway keep the vlogs coming, finding them very intuitive and inspiring

  3. I am really enjoying seeing the sea life in your waters. The marine fauna and flora has a unique charm. I found the way you edited the underwater footage to make me feel like I was exploring the environment with you most engaging.

  4. Love the way Hank is always looking at land from Cadoha an he just sits there quite while your both eating at the table, by the way Carley cooks up fantastic dishes, well done all for great video's.

  5. Great vid guys, and as a gent of the 80’s vintage I can appreciate the reference’s to some of the tunes.
On another note, it would have tasted even better if you’d followed the recipe and used Scottish Scallops😉

  6. Your channel gave us the inspiration for the two week sailing trip to Scilly Ilse’s that we have just returned from and we recognise many of the walks and locations.

We did see a lot of people return just prior to the South Westerlies at end September and had many bays to ourselves for the last few days. By Sunday 2nd Oct , it seemed like things were closing down and it was just us and the bird spotters left. We realised it might be time to get out so we came back overnight Sunday/Monday.

Fantastic area to sail to though – As sailing newbies, we mostly skirted around anchorages from the outer perimeter of the islands in the deeper waters and returned frequently to Porth Cressa for supplies and the showers. Next year though, we will return and brave some of the inner passages and anchorages.

  7. Yours is the only channel where I wish I could give more than one like per episode! Dinghy race with M&A, Scallop diving, humble ad revenues and then cop shelf cookery!!! So good, thank you 🙂

  8. Just watched the episode & wondered where you guys were now. Saw I've just missed you in Dartmouth on the AIS. Would have offered up a trip up the river for a beer (was gorgeous on the river on Sunday).

Keep up the good work & hopefully catch you in person when you next head west!

  9. Must Captain Carly do all the work? Surely all her burden of responsibilities don't include all the cooking, too? Let's just have a sample of Dominic's culinary creativity on occasion. Nonetheless, yet another very enjoyable presentation. Whatever you're doing, you must be doing something right! Greets from the US.

  10. Great video guys. The underwater footage is great, and your foraging is coming along well. That meal looked stunning. So jealous of the fresh produce!! Look forward to the next instalment. Thanks

  11. I'm new to YouTube….. I saw your chat on patreon.
I started watching YouTube when I said to my wife "I have to start learning how to sail" … She said watch YouTube. I've been hooked on sailing channels since last December.
Before YouTube it was mainstream television with mountains of brain washing/ mind numbing ads.
I thought I'd write you to tell you that I'd actually rather you turn on the ad button so you could be fairly compensated for your efforts. I've never been able to pay for anything over the internet and hopefully never will. Especially with all the scammers taking over our electronic lives.
Turn on the ad button… Get paid.
