I just discovered your channel. This is fascinating. At one point in my life when I was living on the coast I took a couple sailing lessons and loved it. I always dreamed of doing something like this but I ended up in the desert far from the ocean. It’s interesting to watch this.

I just turned 64, I've been ejected out of cars onto the freeway twice, shot, stabbed, completed a Masters, and briefly died in 2007 in Coma(Black Mold) for a month. I've ran with Gangsters, and the Hells Angels, in my youth, BUT I MUST SAY, YOU ARE STRAIGHT HARDCORE, GANGSTER, WHAT YOUR DOING ALONE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PACIFIC OCEAN, just blows my mind, I can't stop watching,… your feed just popped up, the other day…and yeah I watch Parley, Tula, Nanji, Delos etc..but you straight dust them,..hats off, lil sister, hats off,..I wish, I had half the Chones, you do, sailing all over God's Glory, without a care in the world..Epic, simply Epic..with Mahalo, from San Diego, Shelter Island, Ca…oh, I come from a family of Yacht Builders too..Aloha ..youg lady, God's Speed…

Wow amazing. All alone and doing good. Impressive. One thing that I've learned buying my first boat and sailboat, the wind vane is so important, helpfull like a second crew member. Be safe out there
What ive leanred getting stuck in a storm alone on the second day of sailing is that the wind vane does better with the main sail compared to the genoa. With the genoa, it causes 2 forces against each other while the main sail being in the middle makes it a lot easier for the self steer. Good luck
Looks like you forgot your shaver back at the marina. Need to do something about that mustache.
One of the things that I recommend is to shorten sail at night, so I am no over powered if a squall comes in the track.

Wow a real sailor. I have seen this channel name before and presumed it was going to be a Stoner hippie channel. Turns out it's hardcore ocean sailing full of tips and hacks etc. Well done, fair winds.
Like the can to eat from. Another one I picked up from round the world racers is using a dog bowl. Yes, dog bowl, stainless steel, won't tip over, cavity underneath keeps food warm and allows for hand grip.
Question i Only have one Concern About these Long Sailing Trips I know this is To much TMI but How do you use the bathroom when your in the Middle of the Ocean as in Number 2 Situation

Her vid of her becalmed was gorgeous. I can remember way back in the day getting off the 2000 – 2400 engineroom watch, hiking up to the bridge and asking the Mate if he'd douse the deck lighting so l could grab a handful of stars. She's right. It's that beautiful.
Her vid of the water in the daytime is also beautiful. It's no wonder it's called the Pacific. Calm. But it can be terrible.
Sigh. I sure miss it. Be back out there in 2 μsec again if my fat old bod would still do it.
